Seven minutes later, we were buying tickets to Park Mirakulum. Here's our experience. 1) Admission: It's CZK 320 (around $15 USD) per person for the entire day. There are no discounts for kids. Once inside, you pay extra for food and drinks. Face painting is free. 2) Areas: You're given a map with your ticket. Use it to help guide you to all the areas. It's a large space, but everything is clearly marked. Everything is well done and amazing in terms of fun and design, but my six-year-old daughter's favorites were the volcano, the slide that requires an inter tube, the water world, the dark tunnels, the massive swings, the obstacle course, and try zip line. Of course, each and every world was phenomenal, including the slides, rope tunnels, the maze, and more. As an adult, I also had a blast! 3) Food/Drink: They have stands everywhere and the food isn't bad. We enjoyed the slushees, hot dogs, waffle on a stick, and the langos. Also, the coffee isn't bad at all for an amusement park. My daughter's (and my) mine was blown by this place. Highly recommend!

They literally have stuff for everyone to include games with tickets, prize games, video games, bumper cars, VR, mini golf, numerous bars, and TV sports area to name a few things. When I needed assistance from staff, they were always available and helpful. The numerous bars they had on each floor was nice to have. They offer a few packages for playing. If you want to buy a video game card so you can win tickets, that you can purchase at any kiosk. If you want unlimited play for 500 CZK (About $25 USD) for 2 hours that is an option also. The only thing with unlimited play is, you obviously can not play the ticket games, you just will not get tickets. You get the unlimited card where you acquire prizes at/ticket counter. Overall this place was clean and modern and had class. I loved the various game options that they do. The only caution I would give is the automated ticket counting machine that adds the tickets to your card, be mindful because it did not put all the tickets on my card. That is my only complaint with this place. I would absolutely come back here again if I was around.

The museum is very old and probably in need of some upgrading... It also includes a few darker themes, however this is part of the culture and history of Prague. The staff is very nice, although may not speak English. Yet this fact made it one of my most authentic moments in Prague, which had sadly become suffocatingly touristy and English-speaking. The museum is very large and there are not many people in the museum, although the price is fair. In any case, it felt like a much needed respite from the dreadfully touristy streets of Prague. As music is a defining feature of the Czech Republic, but especially Prague, (and as good music is becoming a lost art today), I highly recommend that people visit this museum to learn and expand their minds.

The Czech Museum of Music is beautiful centrally located right in the heart of Praha. The offered a great gallery for children and lots of stimulation for the kids through the art of music. The rooms just go on and on into loops showcasing three different levels of instruments and versatile arrangements of important documents of music and the history behind it. I was greatly satisfied and had such a pleasant time even playing the piano downstairs for a few minutes. So much to see & do. Definitely a must see when visiting Prague!!! Great for families and everyone who can appreciate the value and understanding of music. Parking isn't the best, but luckily I found parking right across the street on a weekday. Best if you take the tram to the museum! Less stress! Ha ha.

One of the highlights of my trip to Prague was the National Technical Museum (Národní technické…read moremuzeum). It was fantastic. The museum is quite large, with 7 floors (floors -3 to 3, with a floor 0), and including a quick lunch at the museum, I was there for nearly five hours. The exhibits I saw were: Technology in the Home; Printing; Astronomy; Television Studio; Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Design; Photography; Chemistry Around Us; Measurement of Time; Transportation; Steam Engines in the Czech Lands; Metallurgy; Mining; and a temporary exhibit on Taiwan, which was in place of the Technology in Toys exhibit. My favourite exhibits were the astronomy, time, and chemistry exhibits. The astronomy exhibit had really cool instruments, and I probably spent the longest in that exhibit. The Technology in the Home exhibit was pretty interesting as well, and had household appliances on display from the mid-19th century to present time. I didn't care too much for the Taiwan exhibit, although the display of ancient Chinese locks and keys was neat. Overall, this is an amazing museum, and I highly recommend it. The only issue I had, however, was at the restaurant. Before I went to the museum, I checked on their website that they took credit card, which they did. However, for some reason, the restaurant took cash only, which was not mentioned on the website, nor were there any signs indicating this, so I only found out after I had ordered my food. And as I was towards the end of my trip in Prague, I was running low on cash. So beware about that, and bring cash just in case.
