Perhaps I shouldn't give you this recommendation cause Paco Jose's salted Spanish almonds are so…read moredamn addictive, but now that you know what you're giving yourself into I can say this: if you had room for a kilo of almonds in your bag home you would not regret it (get them decided in several small bags and give away to your friends back home). We got only 400g and regret not getting more already back at the hotel room. Apart from almonds with salt, honey or sugar, and Paco's home fried chips (patatas fritas), there's a lot of candy to be found in this beautiful blue corner store, only one block from the lovely market of Malaga. We were here on Valentine's Day and they had red candied apples dipped in small sugar hearts in one of their windows. I guess these items will change depending on season, and I wouldn't mind checking out their Easter or Christmas candy.

Love love love love love this gelato shop!!!! Every night that we were in Málaga we stopped here…read more My favourite flavours by far were the fig & cream flavour (what???? so good forreal), the vanilla bourbon & the dulce de leche. Their fruit flavours were also amazing. My parents adored the Nocciola, Rocher, and the coffee flavours. So so so yummy and the staff is kind, organized, and helpful! Must stop here

I had the waffle with dark chocolate ice cream. The waffle isn't freshly made, and was very sweet…read more This place is pricer than other ice cream places in the city centre of Malaga that I tried. It wasn't bad but there are better places to have ice cream in my opinion.

I come here only when I really have to. IE: if i'm going to primark and need something quickly,…read morei'll come here. I guess the beef I have is when a checkout lady was nasty with me when I told her I needed a plastic bag. 4 times I asked as she's ringing stuff up, then she made a mention how she hated this job without realising I spoke spanish. Then... when I got home, I realised she charged 10 eruos extra on my receipt. Something that wasn't in my bag. I'm guessing when she needs to buy things... she rings them up for other people then takes them home. So she doesn't have to pay. This has happened to me before so i'm guessing that was it. I couldn't be asked to walk all the way back when I realised I was overcharged. But that cow ruined my good mood. ================= Anyways, outside of my 1 bad experience which knocks off stars: I prefer Carrefour, but it's far from home. This store has a lot, but not everything. Prices are so so. Cheap on some, expensive on others. Best to make your own judgement. It's hard for me to write unbiased cause of my 1 experience.

They give you the same amount of ice cream despite the size of cone because they do not stuff it…read morewith ice cream. Ice cream is ok at best: very sweet, not very creamy. Despite your ice cream being 2/3 come, the cone is not good because it is very stale. This is clearly a tourist shop because the quality is very much lacking.

Would definitely recommend Albis to anyone looking for a nice busy place to chill, enjoy and sit back to watch the hustles and bustles of nerja go by.

This is probably the only good bakery in Almuñécar that makes real quality breads. There is no pan…read morerustico here. The ciabatta and seeded breads are excellent. They also make good deserts that are far superior to anywhere else in town. There are a lot less pastries with nata which is good. They have nice croissants as well but I don't like the sweet glaze they put on top. Just leave the butter croissant alone.
