Such a fun and authentic food hall & market. I speak Spanish but am a gringo and they are used to gringos; most of the people working the various food stalls can speak some English. They are all so nice and helpful. I had a delicious fresh Gordita made in front of me with chicharron. It's the first stand on the left in the aisle (look for the "Gordita" sign) when you walk in and is quite popular. A few meters in and just to the right they made me a delicious "agua" for only 27 pesos: fresh pineapple blended with strawberries. Great place to get a bite before or after a visit to the Casa Luis Barragán (the UNESCO world heritage site) nearby. If you're looking for an authentic ambiance but calm and not chaotic, this is a good stop. read more
