Please please do not buy this contract by these people . Which I found is car guard under different names they bought the company from mepco !!!...... I had a policy and have it for the expiration date or to 140.000 miles which also shows an "x" additional 50,000 miles when I needed to have car serviced first I was told to reach out to who I bought it from them they clarified that it was them whom now bought the company I was told my policy diminished the more I drive my car so me needing to get a starter wasn't covered anyway ... and I spoke to them not only did they keep my on hold for over 35 40 minutes hoping I'd hang up I was told my additional mileage was included when I started to drive my car at 90,000 when it was less than that but ok ... but the 50,000 is the 140,000 do there is no additional 50,000 which is on my policy ... the 50,000 was when I first started driving which came to 140,000 and the additional 50,000 you see is included so there is no additional and then she hung up on me ... but they told the car repair people that have my car that need a starter not an engine it wouldn't be covered anyway cuz their policy diminishes over time so do t think you have a policy to use when you need a repair after paying thousands of dollars ...I wrote this in hopes of. I done seeing this and canceling before you spend your earned money for nothing or simply read and go somewhere else where your car will be fixed when you need to policy you may have spent money on to count on to fix it... This place is awful. I have been trying to cancel my insurance with these guys and for some reason, they wont let me. I tried to not pay the bill and they call me stating that my bill is due. I told them that i didn't want their service any more, they told me that i had to pay $150 to cancel. I told them fine. i thought i paid it but instead, they took out the money for the insurance coverage and i still have the insurance. Someone needs to end this company!!!!! read more

Nothing but scammers. They talk you into a policy saying everything is covered but never tell you all the stipulations and get out of paying for anything and everything. Make you jump through hoops to cancel and will say they never got your notarized cancellation letters (I had to send 4 before one finally got there!) then if you dare to call to see if they got the letter the representatives are aggressive and hostile for no reason, one even brought me to tears and the manager said "what do you want me to do about it". They have horrible hours so if you work you'll never get through to a person and it can take months of phone tag before you do. Worst experience I have ever had and this is not an exaggeration. They took $1600 of my money and I are trying to return less than $500 back for them doing absolutely nothing. Hate is a strong word but I hate this company. Stay far away from Mepco. read more

this company took 288.00 to start the process on 9/4/24 ..I called to cancel the insurance one hour after they tool the money.. I was told to wait until the paperwork came and then I could request a cancellation in writing and a place to mail it. I sent a letter that day to cancel. when called in a few days to see if they had received it . I was informed that they had not received it.. I then sent a letter by certified mail on 9/17/24.. I called again and they hadn't received it. I gave them a tracking # .... they had received it but said because I processed a debit dispute , I couldn't get my money back... This company took 295.00 from me and refuses to give it back. They know I'm on a fixed income and won't give it back.. When I call customer service the women was very rude and somewhat threating .. They tried to cancel and they would not cancel. They had to stop payment at the bank but they keep harassing them. You can't post a lower rating. I insured a car mx policy for my mini. It was totalled shortly thereafter. I called to report it. I was told there are no refunds, but he could switch vehicles and took my info on another car. After having my credit card stolen, I was sent a late notice. I called and they said I was covering the mini. I told the story. I get blown off there, and the warranty dude that sold it and the main complaint line blows my off as well. They stole $1200 bucks, but a small kudo to the financial dude who said he coukd charge me $75 to cancel me...UFB...they are thieves! read more

There should be an option for Zero stars. The work from home Customer Service Center is a joke. I tried to cancel this ridiculous homeowners policy for my mother. The representative insisted I take the time to listen to the warranty etc, and the company word tracks for what to do when someone wants to cancel. I said I wasn't interested, and please cancel the policy. I don't have time right now. "Melissa" said I was belligerent, and had personal problems. I understand trying to save a sale, but this goes a bit overboard. I'm still waiting for a call back from a customer service supervisor to discuss this exchange. I'm hoping it was recorded. Probably never get one so I figured this was a good platform. Wow! Do yourselves a favor folks, and stay away from this company. When you need it they find a way to not pay for any of the services you have been paying for and then when you try to cancel they give you all these lame excuses about why you can't get a refund. The customer service is terrible. They are rude and condescending and they are bullies. They make it very hard to cancel. I was ultimately told they would cancel my service but was going to flag my vin number so I could never go to Ford again.stating it is a troubled vehicle. My vehicle has not been seen tested or diagnosed by this company but your telling me you are going to flag my vehicle because I can no longer afford your service and you have the right to do it because you work for ford. This business is a SCAM and won't let you cancel your policies. I tried to cancel my policy, and each time I tried to cancel, I was left talking to some AI-generated voice that would say they'd call in 30 minutes, but I'd never receive a call. It took me calling a different extension besides the one listed when you call their number. After I finally got ahold of an actual human being, I was under the impression that my policy was canceled, but to my surprise, they lied, and I ended up getting charged yet again the next month. After I noticed this charge, I reached out once again and had the same experience when trying to get ahold of someone. This time I was very upset and recorded the conversation and even made sure the individual I spoke to called me back after my card went through to verify that my warranty was cancelled. After all this, you'd think that I finally canceled my policy, but you'd be mistaken. I just checked my bank statement, and I noticed that they are still charging me for the policy that I cancelled. Luckily I have the recordings from the last time, so I will be pursuing a lawsuit if this doesn't get taken care of because this is ridiculous. For anyone considering using this business, I'd highly suggest against it and that if you do, you have recordings of your conversations so this doesn't happen to you. read more

This company sent a representative to my elderly father's home and convinced him to purchase the CoverageX and MEPCO warranty for his vehicle. After paying $200 a month, that he barely had due to a fixed income, he was convinced that this would work for him. A few months later, he took his care in for service. CoverageX kept asking about the mileage which the Car dealership sent numerous times. After so many days, they informed my father that his last service showed $64000 miles, but his contract showed $63000 when he signed the contract. This was totally a scam to take advance of an elderly. If the agent came on site to sell the insurance and get information for the contract, he should have verified the mileage since he was there onsite. He could have asked my father to go the car and verify the mileage which he didn't. The company knew exactly what they were doing. They were going to have him paying $200 a month for CoverageX and Mepco for a long period of time just to tell him that the mileage was incorrect, and they couldn't cover it. I highly recommend avoiding this company. read more

United Car Car is the administrator, Endurance Warranty is the facilitator, and Mepco is the insurance company. My Audi mechanic called United Car Care for me, stating that my engine was consuming oil and the compression in cylinder 3 was using 60% of my oil which is ultimately ruining my engine. The United Car Care adjuster/inspector told Audi that the engine would need to be torn down for him to see what was the cause of the fault. I emailed the person, gfouts@unitedcarcare.com, and he called me back stating the process of getting the claim approved is to tear down the engine. I authorized Audi to do this, because G. Fouts told me that was the net step in the process. After the engine was torn down, G. Fouts came back out, and almost instantaneously sent an email denying the claim, since it was a consumption claim. I contacted United Car Care and spoke with a person named Kevin. Kevin said "well the claim was denied because consumption is not covered, and the claim was presented to us as consumption" to which I asked "then why did your adjuster insist I tear down the engine then if he already knew it was consumption and that consumption is not covered?" That was on 9-8-21 at 4:04 pm and I was advised by Kevin that he "would see what he could do." So I have spent over $4000.00 on a warranty, which I have never filed a claim on my car until now, and it is immediately denied after they cause me to have to pay $6000.00 for a tear down of my engine so they can knowingly deny the claim due to uncovered consumption claim. On December 10th, 2021, a MEPCO telemarketer ignored the phone system we pay to stop telemarketers from contacting our elderly mother who is in the early stages of dementia. The scammer confused her into believing she had to give out her credit card information. They then charged her card $295, which alerted us to the suspicious charge. We denied the charge along with 2 other charges that MEPCO submitted. We also cancelled the card. My mother is now receiving bi-weekly calls harassing her to make these payments. She has also received a bill in the mail. We have tried contacting a representative using the number(s) provided and after sitting through Hell-hold, an automated system said no one is available to take our call. This needs to stop! Harassing, abusing, and defrauding seniors is illegal! read more

Auto Warranty NOT worth buying. I recommend staying away from this company. They will take your money and weasel their way out of paying for the repairs. They ONLY cover $90/labor in repair when most auto repair shops and auto dealers service charge $120 to $165 per hour. Leaving you paying for the gap. Even ONE STAR is too much for this company. if you have any complaints send it to your BBB or State attorney generals office so that they are aware of companies like this so they don't scam other people. read more
