The others in his office follow his lead and round out the good experience patients have at Dr. Burton's office (I have seen times when he has had a hard time getting patients to leave!). Unlike so many doctors of all types, he gets to know his patients to the extent they want and remembers when they tell him about things like a big trip they have booked. Also unlike so many he has a very broad working knowledge beyond his professional expertise in the dental field and that shows conversationally. As a result of his comprehensive response to the pandemic and detailed effort to keep his patients safe, even in these trying times seeing a dental appointment on my calendar means I will have a good experience coming up. Parking is also free and plentiful.

The changes they've made both personal and in office tech wise makes going to the dentist a lot more pleasant than I remember. Sure, I'd still rather be doing anything else, but it no longer feels like a torture chamber. Admittedly, they've put up with me a lot over the years but I can honestly say I don't have any regrets about now having to drive about an hour to go here. At 70 years old I began going to FANIKOS, she examined my teeth, took a mouth of X-rays even cleaned teeth and did 6 filling at one appointment. After a visit last year she said I needed to see another dentist ( specialist) to deal with under crown cavities, I signed a release to send them my X-rays and booked my next cleaning at her, FANIKOS office. 6 months go by I get reminders about my upcoming cleaning and then was told I had been released from FANIKOS to the specialist...yup thrown out of a dentist practice because she did not want to deal with any of my dental work. Never have i had a doctor refuse to see me....I would think doctors are obligated by oath never to refuse anybody, Well at 73 years old I was thrown out because she did not want to deal with my mouth anymore. She suggests a specialist you better see him/her because once you sign the release form to send them X-rays, you will be out on the street like me. GOOIOOOOD NEWS. I am in Florida. I went to another dentist in FLL. THE DENTIST saw me and I explained what front teeth I needed repair. She did not hesitate treating me like an old patient. Repaired 3 and I'm going back for more repairs.....and a cleaning, this is how a dentist, a doctor or any professional should be. To bad I had to go 1500 miles to find A DENTIST WITH A HEART.......and my front teeth are looking amazing. Once back in Massachusetts I will be going back to my old dentist I had for many many many years...he will always take me back. Overall our experience…read morewas good, the place is very clean, staff are friendly and what we appreciated the most is the convenience service if offers from adult to pediatrics dental practices. They even extended the operation hour to later evening to accomodate people who work during the day . But I have noticed the billing and charging of our insurance seems always been a hiccup. Many years we have been receiving medical billing statement mailed to us with amount we don't think is correct, after making phone calls to their billing office, we were told it's just an estimate cost not final charge, so I was always confused why they have to send the statement to us at the first place, not only it's time consuming but also caused confusion to patients. Recently I have to order night guard , I checked with the dentist and was told it will be cover up to 75 % percent by insurance. Upon receiving the product, I went to make the payment at front end receptionist without thorough checking I was asked to pay a lot higher than what I was told. I asked the receptionist to double check, within few seconds she confirmed I was right and charge me less, I was shocked and confused about the process of charging patients there, shouldn't more cautious be exercised like my case? what if I forget or didn't remind her to double checked then I will end up overpaying. So thinking I should get this message across and hopefully see the improvement in this area from now on! Thanks for taking time to read this long review!
