BEWARE - LIES & BOTCHED DRESS!…read more My mom purchased her MOB dress from The Blushing Bride for my upcoming wedding. They offered in-house alterations for $100-$150 so we were happy to use them and keep the dress at the store. We went in for the 1st fitting and then a month later they called to let us know the dress was finished. We arrived to find HALF of the alterations completed (she hemmed half of the dress but not the other half, took in the waist but not the bust, etc.) and the half that was complete was botched. Luckily, I took photos from our first fitting that I was able to show the owner who helped us at the "final" pick up appointment to demonstrate all the things that were missed/done incorrectly despite being pinned at the end of the first appointment. The owner was rude, condescending and never ONCE apologized for the issue - she just said "Oh I am not sure why the seamstress did not complete this or that". After my mom took the dress off and we spoke, we decided we no longer trusted the Blushing Bride team with her dress at all and feared that they would end up cutting off more of the dress that we could not salvage if we left it with them. It's also note-worthy that to them, this dress was complete and final, they would have happily let us leave with it had we not pointed out all the things they missed. When we politely requested to just go ahead and take the dress with us and not have them "alter" it again - we were told by the owner we had to pay $250 TO TAKE HOME THE DRESS WE HAD ALREADY FULLY PURCHASED! Mind you, we were quoted $100-$150 for the entirety of the alterations, not to mention we drove 2+ hours each way multiple times, half of the alterations weren't done and those that were done were comically bad. After we expressed our outrage that they would even make us pay anything in this situation, the owner would not allow us to pay any less than $150 to get back the dress we already paid for in full. We paid it just to be done with these crooks, but I caution any other customers, DO NOT TRUST THE BLUSHING BRIDE WITH YOUR DRESS! It's all about how you handle your customers, and while the employees themselves were sweet, the owner could not have been more rude. Do not give your money to someone who will let you leave with a botched dress and LIE about the cost of alterations to your face!

My daughters bought their wedding gowns here less than 10 years ago. I recommended SE to my future…read moredaughter in law. I'm sorry that I did. When you pull into the parking lot, the original building is off limits. You walk through a brush filled path on the left to the "new" building. Inside is ok on arrival. What you start to notice is the unfinished vents, outlets, the weird doorways. If you use their restroom, you're going to find wallpaper that's peeling at EVERY seam. One of the dresses she tried on had obvious stains, one had an overlay that doubled the price but wasn't available to see. This was so disappointing. The bridal "experience " was non-existent. This place needs to finish their building, clean their dresses and reevaluate what it takes to sell a bridal gown.
