*TLDR* Jon is the most comprehensive, detailed and thorough masseuse I have ever experienced…read more Jon (owner at Earth & Muscle) is the first massage therapist who truly is therapy BY massage. Jon has clinically addressed the ongoing needs of my body's active lifestyle. After a few 90 min bi-weekly sessions, it is clear he has an understanding of my problem areas, how they ebb and flow depending on each seasons' activities and exactly how to target pain points. Jon is deeply knowledgeable in the relationship between not only muscle and bone but the intricate hormonal, neural, digestive, lymphatic endocrine etc systems that comprise us. Add-ons I have had during my 90 min massages from Jon include CBD oil and traditional Chinese cupping, abdominal massage, scraping massage (Gua sha). He offers additional add-on including: motor vehicle accident massage (MVA - ask your insurance!) and nutritional therapy all of which I have yet to and am looking forward to exploring. Dolly is amazing! I was on vacation, with no intention of having a massage since I had scheduled with my regular therapist before and after my trip. But the long drive and days of hiking wreaked havoc on my neck. By a happy chance, I took a wrong turn and ended up right in front of Ashi Massage. Dolly removed the pain in my neck and relaxed my body entirely so I could enjoy my vacation again! Her pressure was perfect from beginning to end. This massage was luxurious in every way except the price. Dolly charged me less for 90 minutes than I pay for an hour of ashi in California. This is serious therapy for healing and relaxation. Simply wonderful! If you are in Hood River and looking for an amazing massage, do NOT miss a chance to see Dolly!
