I've been taking my chainsaw chains to Ace for a couple years now for sharpening. Every time I've…read morebeen told 'we have the guy in Battle Creek sharpen them, so it'll be a week or so before we get them back". This last time, I asked if they still had the guy in Battle Creek sharpening them and was told "we never send them out, we sharpen them here at the store". The kid at the front counter also didn't want me talking to the guy at the back counter because 'he is busy'. I put my name, phone number, and how many chains I was dropping off on a tag and the kid wrapped the tag around the chains. After about 3 weeks I finally called to see what was going on, yup, my chains were done. No one EVER calls back. I'll be taking my chains to Bomgaars for sharpening from now one. This whole town sucks. Ace just adds to the pile of crap that this town consists of.

Menards sent the wrong mastic for our project. Our contractor installed and asked who said to use…read morethis? He had not used it before. I said menards provided with our very expensive porch. The manager Dan will not communicate and will not show up to receive the order for small claims. We are falling of deaf ears. Terrible service .... research anything they give you because you are on your own with ANY project. We have spent so much money with updating our home to fall on deaf ears to fix the mastic issues they created... they provided indoor only that will all fall off in Nebraska weather. Every time we call or stop they have a different excuse for not having it. The last time we stopped, we talked to the owner himself and he more or less told us that they weren't concerned about the matter implying he could care less. I don't intend to ever buy anything from them again as it seems all they are concerned about is the sale and nothing else.
