Menards in Willmar is my favorite local store. One thing is they don't let checkout lines get long. they are on top of it. When the open lines have more than 2 waiting they immediately open another lane and keep things moving. very good customer service. read more

Exceptional service at the Willmar Menards. We drove an hour to Menards to get something that wasn't available at our nearby Menards store and wow what a helpful group of employees. We had 3 people offer to help us in 3 different areas of the store. At my local Menards that never happens--more like I hunt for someone to help. Today, I had the worst customer service I have ever had at Menards. I am, a Frequent Menards shopper & after checking out today, I was standing by the exit ready to go out, when I thought I should maybe ask for help loading my merchandise, as it was heavy & I am a senior lady. I had trouble putting some things in my cart. So, I noticed a young woman, a Menards employee that walked in with someone & they were talking. When, the young woman was done talking I asked, if she could help me load my merchandise into my cart. She, looked at my Cart, and asked me how I got the stuff in my cart, in the first place !! I told her forget it Monica or whatever her name was. After, loading my car I noticed she came out & she was retrieving carts. I wouldn't have asked for help, if I didn't think I needed it. When, I have asked for help in previous visits, I have always had, very professional & people more than willing to help. Maybe, this person should have more Customer service training. read more

Me and the wife went to the willmar menards to buy/order brand new appliances (new stainless steel kitchen stove and new stainless steel refrigerator) we looked at every one they had, twice, 3 times. Not 1 employee came to ask us if we needed help, nor did any worker appear to be in the appliance area for the 29 minutes we stood around and waited to be helped. I even walked around and looked for someone to ask to help us. Not 1 person could be found. We were actually the only customers in the aisle besides 1 man looking at deep freezers early on 1 or 2 aisles over. I realize that i spent way to much at menards. They dont care about customers, they only care about getting your cash. Do not shop here. I will not do business here again. read more
