Menards is a Great Home Improvement and Hardware store! I am so happy that Menards has a store in Dickinson. We use to live in California and had Home Improvement stores all around us, but we had never heard of Menards until we moved to North Dakota. Menards is the best of the best as far as I see it. We love their 11% discount, their weekly ad sales, their Customer Service and friendly and helpful employees. We shop at Menards a lot because we are remodeling our home here in North Dakota. Recently, I ordered all the new cedar siding for our 100 year old home and it arrived stunningly beautiful. It really made our house stand out in the neighborhood. I have purchased many of the tools, Paint supplies, flooring supplies, windows and doors from Menards and they all have been great! Ordered a medicine cabinet online as I live in Beulah, but work in Dickinson. Got off work a little later than normal because I work at the hospital. Got to the yard exactly at 8:00pm, which yes is when they close. Menards worker was still at the yard door. Asked if I could still pick up my order as it was only 8pm and I lived out of town and wouldn't be back for several days. I was told that it was 8pm and they were closed. I asked if they could make an exception. The worker said they were closed. I left. I do understand that they close at 8, but was hoping for a bit of understanding and customer service, but I guess not. I've worked retail for several years prior to my job at the hospital, and I feel like a little customer service can go along way. Guess we'll either order from Menards in Bismarck from now on, or maybe just switch to Lowe's as they had the majority of the items we needed for our bathroom remodel. read more

Buyer beware. False advertising with very poor customer service. Advertised price was $4.99, we were charged $19.99 instead. We were traveling through so couldn't go back to the store we bought it from. Contacted customer service throught their website and got blown off. This is the pillow we were directed to when we came into the store and showed the employee the ad and the sign above it said $4.99. Also, it certainly looks exactly like the pillow we received. See the attached photos. In fact the receipt even says Contour Leg Pillow and you can see Contour Leg Pillow in the ad. We have been trying to work with customer service and can't even get a response without multiple emails. read more

This place is fantastic. It doesn't show up on GPS, so that is a bummer. Right next to the Buffalo Wild Wings. This place has it all. Home, clothes, food. It's the Home Depot and Lowe's of the Midwest. Best part? When it's snowing you can get your steps in by walking around the 3 miles of store! Greatest place ever! read more

Very disappointed in the policy of the store refusing to let me shop without a mask even though I have severe respiratory problems which prohibit me from being able to wear a mask. And the the employees are very rude to top it all off, will never shop in a Menards store again. read more

The Dickinson Menards is a joke of a hardware store. Their store brand is a travesty. We've had to buy tools, flooring, paint, etc from this place and we've had to take back a multitude of items because they just don't measure up. They never seem to carry enough of a product in stock & when you ask them to "order" it in for you it takes 2 weeks. I'm so glad retailers are going away, I'd rather order off the internet any day. read more

We spent $245.76 there 2 days ago, and used a $5.00 rebate "check". We had to return a $14.99+tax item and was having them refund to our debit card. Menards only refunded us $10.96 and gave us BACK the $5.00 rebate "check". (which I wanted to use so I wouldn't have to keep up with it!!) So consequently we spend over $200, and DID NOT GET TO USE OUR REBATE CHECK!! So we are FORCED to shop again at Menards!!! BUT we will be finding an item that is ONLY $5.00 and then when we get the next rebate which is $10.00 (yeah part of the $200 spending was another rebate item, stupid us) we again will only spend $10.00 and then not shop at Menards again. (and I really loved that store but I DO NOT LIKE TO BE FORCED TO SHOP THERE)! Menards - Dickinson, ND SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I even spoke to a manager and she wasn't making sense. The kicker is had we used a credit card (instead of our debit card) we would have gotten all the money back!??? According to the HUGE SIGN stating the order of funds refunding.......so stupid. I totally understand if the only item was the $14.99 that we had used the rebate check with but we didn't get the rebate check on ANYTHING and have to purchase AGAIN!!!! read more
