He was very prompt at responding to e-mails so he was the one I ultimately went with. I did have an obligatory "question everything including the photographer" moment right before my wedding.. but it passed (existing brides know what I'm talking about) I didn't realize this until the day of my wedding, but you want to pick a photographer that you enjoy spending the day with since my husband and I spent a LOT of time with Todd. The whole day was very stressful with running around and the rain, but Todd was very calm and "up for whatever". I had a lot of unique themes in my wedding, like an American Girl doll dressed like me. Todd was a great sport throughout everything. It's also SO important to get a Vegas photographer who knows the Strip well if you plan to do a Strip Tour. There were many backways or roundabout ways we got shots that I would not have known about had Todd not been there. For instance, I really wanted a picture at "The Garden of the Gods" at Caesars and when we got to the pool it had been roped off. Todd sidestepped this without any issues and we were able to get some great shots. He also constantly reminded me how the rain made for some great lighting, so that helped ease the pain of it raining on my wedding day (I know, it's good luck- blehhh). Although my experience was awhile ago, I wanted to share how my experience with Todd went. We originally picked Todd because of the pictures on his website and because of the reviews on The Knot. Todd was nice from the beginning and I could tell he was super relaxed and a go-with-the-flow kinda' guy. That was great to me because that's how my husband and I are. Leading up to the big day, we didn't really have many questions but we just followed up with him here and there, "So are you still coming to our wedding?" "Yeah? Ok, cool. Bye." The day of, he was prompt - introduced himself and immediately starting taking pics. We stayed at the Aria and they have really cool looking waterfalls, so we rounded up our family and got some cool pics outside of the hotel. Before we left the hotel, he asked if we had any preference for spots and we said that we weren't overly familiar with the city, but we knew we had to have the quintessential Vegas sign pics and ones with the Eiffel Tower in the background. He gave us lots of great suggestions and we took all of them. We also had rented a pink hummer for my wedding, so he made sure to get lots of snaps of us with the hummer too. Unfortunately for me, there wasn't a whole lot of time between the ceremony itself and the dinner to go to all the places that we wanted, but with the time spent, we got a lot of great shots. We booked the 4 hour package which was enough time to include the strip tour along with part of our wedding dinner. I was so happy that we booked Todd because we were able to get pics of our cake, our friends and family and of all the moments throughout the night during our dinner. When our time was up, we told him that he could go ahead and leave but that he could also stay for dinner. He was very grateful and ended up shooting for another hour or so for free before heading home. It didn't take long to get our pictures back and I loved 95% of them. There were some that I thought I looked bad in, but that's me being overly critical of myself. We were so glad to get all of our pics on a disc so we could print as many as we wanted and also have them digitally forever -- or as long as the marriage should last (kidding.) My absolute favorite wedding picture that I have (you can see it in my Yelp profile pics) is one that Todd took of us behind the Vegas sign with the sun setting. The sky is all purple and it's such a stunning picture. I'm so grateful to Todd for creating such great photographic memories of my perfect day!

Planning a wedding from another state (Florida) in about 3 weeks time can be very stressful given that you are contracting with vendors based on websites and reviews (and there are a lot of fake sites and scammers out there). We were so extremely lucky to find Sam Fawaz. He made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. He was so responsive, and was always there to answer our questions and offer advise, even if it was not related to photography. From our initial call to discuss our photography needs up to and through the day of our ceremony, and the delivery of the photographs, Sam was everything you want in a photographer and so much more! There are no words to describe his professionalism, his friendliness, and his talent. Sam truly over-delivers! He not only meets your expectations, and what he says he will do, but he far exceeds them on your special day. Sam has such a passion for what he does that it is evident as he photographs couples on their special day. You can feel it, we sure did! Sam made our wedding day so much fun and so special! Some of our favorite memories of that day are from our photoshoot with Sam. We took pics outside of the Linq, where we got married and then took a cab to the Venetian, where we were having dinner. Yes, I would have liked to get Paris and the Bellagio, but it really wasn't necessary because even with just the two venues there were SO many pretty places and backgrounds to choose from and so much to look at. I realized, especially after looking at the final pictures, that if you have the right photographer you can look good in a garbage dump. And of course, the price was right, too (always important). Let me start off by saying that had I read a bad review about this photographer i would have NEVER…read morehired him. The reviews were all wonderful saying how much he went out of his way for them, well apparently I was not so 'fortunate' to receive any of that. I found anthony via groupon for a special he was doing. I was planning on visiting Vegas in January to celebrate my birthday and thought why not take some great photos as we were staying at Lake Las Vegas known for its gorgeous scenery. I contacted him early on in August to ask about pricing and if he could shoot at my hotel. He responded right away and seemed very friendly on the phone and on email. Closer to the time I messaged him about a month before in December and he corresponded within a day confirming everything. A week before I reached out to him via email to confirm if there were any changes. He took almost 3 days to respond. This was my first red flag. I let it got as he was quite responsive before and I figured he was busy. The nightmare begins the week of my trip to vegas. I messaged Anthony 2 weeks before my shoot to notify him of a time change and a date change as I wanted to switch my itinerary that week. It took me a voice mail and two messages later to get him to respond by saying that all was well. He took 3 days to respond and this was via text. Again another red flag but like most photographers I figured he was tied up with other things. As a courtesy the day before my travel i made sure he knew the time change for the shoot. He never responded! When I arrived to las Vegas it was raining that night and the forecast predicted more rain that week. Great! My shoot was outdoors. As soon as I checked in to my hotel I updated him letting him know I was concerned about the weather and if there was anywhere else in the hotel we could shoot. I waited until 3 am vegas time and heard NOTHING! The day of the shoot I began to grow anxious and very worried. I texted him again that morning and got no response. My makeup artist arrived on time but would have needed more time to do my hair. I heard nothing from anthony and this was about an hour before our shoot. I texted him AGAIN saying hi are you getting this? I am going to be late. He messages me TEN minutes before our scheduled shoot saying he is on his way! While my hair was being done he messaged me saying he is outside the hotel just let him know when I am done. I get down to the lobby. No sign of him. I text again to say I am out front. he eventually shows up five minutes later and is ready to shoot. I had my own concept of what I wanted however he decided that he wanted to shoot outdoors as the rain had just subsided. We shot outside as I sat on cold wet concrete steps as he quickly snapped photos without even really taking the time to fix anything. In fact I was the one that suggested he stop as I needed to fix details with my outfit. He cared less, and just kept asking me to walk in heels on the wet bare concrete on the hotel (mind you I could have slipped as the floor was slippery) When I noticed he was so rushed, I let him know I had another wardrobe change and if that would be ok. I also asked if we could take some shots in the garden overlooking the hotel. I mean HELLOO!!!! why the heck would I shoot at lake las vegas and not have a good background!! After I quickly changed my outfit I realized it was HIS shoot and not mine as he directed me to do the same poses I did for each outfit again. I did not enjoy one bit of being TOLD what to do and this was not a modelling portfolio, this was MY own shoot with poses I wanted to do. I had to ask him if it was okay to take a few photos posing the way I wanted to. The last outfit change I asked if we could shoot inside the hotel by a gorgeous cascading chandelier. He refused to do so saying oh.. well if we can get the people out. He took the photo of me so quickly that the chandelier barely shows!!! everything was rushed, unprofessional and unacceptable It took him about 4 days to email me the proofs only after I ASKED for them. Then another week to send the retouched pictures that looked like a 10th grader did . My eyes were messed up in the photos, I looked cross eyed and he failed to edit that HAD HE TAKEN THE TIME TO LOOK AT THE PHOTOS AS HE TOOK THEM HE WOULD SPOT THESE THINGS. THAT IS WHAT PHOTOGRAPHERS DO TO MINIMIZE BAD PHOTOGRAPHY!!!!! Never will I do business with him ever for his utter lack of professionalism. I paid for a service I expected it to be outstanding. Next time I will pay full price elsewhere!!!!!!!
