She was impressively responsive, extremely personable, and exquisitely professional. I had so many qualms and anxieties headed into the shoot that quickly dispersed once I met her in person and we got started. Melanie opened up her beautiful home to me and made me feel at ease. I also brought a friend with me, which I saw several other boudoir photographers in OC do not allow. During the photo viewing (a few days after the shoot), she went through each photo for a yes, maybe, or no, and took notes on how I would or would not like photos to be retouched. She was a very patient and detailed listener to my laundry-list of preferences. As a tip, don't forget to book well in advance of birthdays/holidays if you're doing this as a gift for your S/O. Upon contacting her, it was about a week/a few days for her soonest availability and then a few more days for editing, selecting, and a few more days to receive prints.
