The drinks they serve are always consistently on point, no matter who is making them. That's a huge plus in my book. The only real negative I have about the place are the chairs at the bar. I get angular is ascetically pleasing to management, but to customers it's annoying and provides nothing but extra work. I have to move two chairs to sit down, how does that make any sense. Quit overthinking the chair alignment at the bar, I beg you. Of course it won't stop my wife and I from coming almost every week, but I truly hope one day I will walk in there and see the bar chairs straight and not angled. Anyways, if you want a place with great food, very clean, unbelievable workers and an ambiance unlike anywhere else is NWI, you will want to go here. Karaoke is not about being the best singer in the house. No one's gonna get discovered by a record label here. We are all just here to have fun and sing songs we like. The bartender that usually works is super awesome and really nice. The drinks are really good and decently priced and they have a bunch of different snack foods that you can get. In the rockstar karaoke room you can always go next-door and order food and have it brought over . While the rockstar karaoke area just has appetizers. That's been my main experience. I haven't gone there on other nights, but they have a nice stage and sound system with cool lighting and bands. Come and play there. I saw the Ultimate Doors tribute band at the Genesee in Waukegan last month and the drive here was basically the same for me. I enjoyed this show even more the second time. Just over the border is the small town of Hobart and the Art Theatre fits the mold. Celebrating 85 years, this 500 seat venue offers a great view of the stage, anywhere inside. I was shocked how much leg room there is and I am 6'4". An aisle seat was perfect except there was a lot of drunks frequenting the bar, and blocking your view. Sound and lighting is definitely well appointed. Friendly staff and easy check in with your phone.
