There was a miscommunication between the insurance company and family savings and credit union that caused frustration, particularly when family savings credit union added insurance to our loan principal. After seeing my dissatisfaction online, I was contacted by the head of the Lending department to collect the proper information and took care of the issue. My hope is that they would have contacted me via phone initially instead of just sending me a letter that had stated that they had added this premium, a simple discussion in five minutes would have alleviated any of the frustration. Currently, all the matter is resolved and I have updated my review of the organization seeing as they have dealt with the situation accordingly and shown genuine concern and care for my business.

From the owner: Family Savings Credit Union.... Where your money grows with you and your family, and membership…read moreallows all member-owners to prosper. The concept of a credit union is one where people can get better financial services by pooling their resources and working together. In 1951, these principles were brought to Gadsden, AL, when a group of seven Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Inc. employees each pulled $5.25 from their pockets and chartered Family Savings Credit Union. Since that time, Family Savings has grown to over 65,000 members with eight branches located in Alabama and Georgia. We still serve the employees of Goodyear, but we've extended our family to also include: Alabama - Persons who live, worship, work (or regularly conduct business in), or attend school in Etowah, Marshall, DeKalb, Jackson, Cherokee, Calhoun, Cleburne, Madison, Blount and St. Clair Counties, Alabama. Georgia - Persons who live in Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Paulding, Polk and Walker Counties, Georgia. Today, Family Savings Credit Union is still driven by the same mission: Not for Profit, Not for Charity, But for Service We are dedicated to giving members a lower cost alternative to the traditional banking system. Members, not profits, have always been and still are our top priority. We are equally dedicated to providing state-of-the-art products and services backed by personalized member service. Like a family, we want to make sure that all our members succeed...

I visited the Bank of America Hiram location today to make my usual first-of-the-month withdrawal…read more I always come prepared with a written note that clearly outlines how I would like my cash broken down. It looks something like this: $100 x 5 = $500 $50 x 4 = $200 $20 x 5 = $100 $10 x 10 = $100 $1 x 100 = $100 Total = $1,000 I do this to make the interaction smoother and easier for the associate. Initially, I went to the employee I typically see, but for some reason, she did not seem to understand the note this time. Since this is something I do regularly, I found that a bit surprising. I decided to wait and go to another associate instead--and I am so glad I did. It was my first time working with Yvette (Associate #773), and from the moment we exchanged "Good afternoon," she reviewed my note and immediately understood the breakdown. That impressed me, especially since it was our first interaction. She was extremely pleasant, professional, and easy to communicate with. Please let Yvette know how pleased I was with the excellent service she provided at 12:11 p.m. today. I truly look forward to doing business with her again. And I must say--I absolutely loved her smile. What a pleasure it was to meet her!

Let me start off by saying I am Disabled. My wife was told that since they CLOSED the Drive Thru…read morethat all I had to do was pull into the handicapped parking and call inside and someone would come out to me. Seems that the drive thru would be easier. So today my wife pre-called them to let them know I was coming in and was told by "Jenny" that they would come out to me when I got there and called. I get there within 15 minutes of that call. Called three times and no one picked up. I then hobble myself inside and call again and can barely hear the phone ringing in a far office. There are 3 employees visible, only two of them working behind the counter. One of them is the manager. Here it is a Friday afternoon, 3 employees only two of them behind the counter. Piss poor employee management before a Friday rush! I tell the manager that I am not happy and he blows it off, oh well. So it seems lying and poor customer service is the new norm for BOA. When I asked if there was a number to call and complain I was told NO. Maybe I would get a customer survey to fill out. When I asked if there was a way to make sure I got the customer survey the manager said no it was random. Again Horse hockey! Well here is the phone number for the VP and his email address. If you want to complain, light him up and let him know of the POOR customer service and rudeness of the Manager if you experience it. Bryan Jackson (770) 238-6085 Bryan.Jackson@bankofamerica.com
