Very relaxed very professional wonderful staff and most of all my massage therapist Arianna was amazing. I had been seeing different therapists over the years all over the world and she is really the top! Jodie uses many different techniques and very intuitive. She had an extensive training and focused on integrating different techniques for the most efficient results. I never felt better just after a few sessions with her! She is also a wonderful yoga teacher and achieves so much in an hour what appears to be gentle, yet the result are the same when I have a 2 hour Hatha Yoga class. I wish I lived near by so I could come regularly and not just summers. She has a center in Montreal and just recently relocated to Val David in a very charming home-great asset for the community. I will definitely be back to see her when I return.

Five minutes later, her client came out, but I still had to wait for her around 5 minutes more so she could get the massage room ready for her next client (me). Then, after she let me in, she spent a full twenty (20) minutes filling in my intake form, which should have been sent in advance to me, so we wouldn't waste any precious time with pointless paperwork. She eventually gave me a mediocre massage that didn't do anything good to me. I had come in with a terrible headache caused by pain from my neck spondylosis. Her actual massage technique was below par. I think I had better massages given by my cat scratching my neck. Then, she finished this sorry excuse for a massage with a massage of my chest! Of all spots on my body that I can think of, this is not something that was ever massaged, nor did I want it or ask for anything of the sort. I actually told her to stop whatever she thought she was doing and focus instead on my neck, shoulders and back, which really hurt. At which point, she said time was up and that was it. I didn't actually have my watch with me, but the massage session felt awfully short and useless. When I got back to my car and I saw the time, I realized she just cheated me out of 30 minutes of massage! It was supposed to be a 90 minute massage, but she didn't make up for her tardiness, nor for the useless 20-minute paperwork that could have easily be done online, by email. Upon receiving her massage, I can definitely understand why: she is mediocre at best at massage therapy. The whole experience left me very disappointed about Ms. Désormeaux' total lack of professionalism, too the point that I don't even want to try the other massage therapist because at this point, I doubt all of the good reviews I read about both of them. Fool me once...
