Car was taken to Melton's for head gasket repair.Received car back still running hot which they said.i was told the only thing they thought it could be was a cracked block.After taking my car to another shop and them replacing the two thermostats the overheating was resolved.The price of their work was a thousand dollars (add 30 something more if paying with a card).I found at this shop (not Melton's) I needed my valve cover gasket, and intake manifold gasket replaced due to oil leaking which was supposed to be done at Melton's after I brought the whole head gasket kit to them. It included the timing chain as well which was not put on but not returned upon receiving my car back. My spark plugs which were inside the car were also not put in but were gone when I received my car back.I have emailed this establishment to resolve this issue to no avail. They may be good with oil changes,things dealing with tires etc but for extensive repair GO ELSEWHERE!! read more

Nothing like being told by the mechanic and receptionist that they don't remember me or my car all because of a mistake they made that needed to be fixed. My daughter and my brother(who I referred to them) along with myself will no longer go here. It does not matter I guess because they apparently do not appreciate the business or remember me anyway. Word of advice, if you are a receptionist you may want to think about the impression you make on customers before you say things. so glad I kept my invoice and I will be sending you a copy of it along with copies from bank statements showing where I paid for your service. I made my boyfriend call up there "He said that he's not responsible for anything that is in the parking lot I was like well it's y'all business so y'all are responsible he said well unless somebody wants to pay $500 then they can't do nothing about it but each other fits the best teeth cut and he said that he told you he will watch the cameras and see if he find anything I said well yeah get on that ASAP because we really trying to sell this car and y'all fucked it up so yeah I need to get something happened" I feel like meltons wasn't taking me seriously so I made him call, etc and not valuing my car. So if you have nice car and drop it off there, and something happens to it, remember you are responsible for it even when it's out of possession and care. Not to mention I literally gave them $60 & $473 before I noticed the dent. They backed my car into another car, at their business and put a dent into my 2017 Nissan I will give it to them they tried to fix it, but the matter of the fact is, my car got messed up under there care, and never even fixed my car, I had to take it to wrench turner in clover and figure out the issue which was bent dust shield. After 2 weeks of continuously taking my car to Melton's, also they gave me a faulty axle on 8/26 and had to replace it, also bent the dust shield that I had to get replaced else where because they couldn't figure out the issue, after literally 1 week 2 week of having my car. read more
