She immediately responded to my email and followed up with a call to introduce herself and ask questions about my family and ask what exactly I was looking for. I knew I needed someone with a great personality, friendly, caring, and passionate about their photos. Leyna is exactly that! She made us feel so comfortable, as if we had met before, had my boys laughing and talking all while capturing these amazing shots. After reviewing her website and chatting with her on the phone she was hired for the job! Leading up to the party her communication skills were excellent, she even sent me a text the day of the party to confirm what time she would be there. She showed up early and was ready to shoot! She brought a mask but I told her we were comfortable with her not wearing it, she was prepared either way which is lovely in these "Covid times". She captured the essence of the party and let everyone relax and keep their phones away. As the host of the party I could relax and enjoy time with all of the guests instead of worrying about getting group shots. I must admit I live for a good candid photo and she got so many great ones of friends and family in our backyard, I'll cherish those photos for the rest of my life. She captured the epic cake smash and lots of other moments from the party. She did such a great job engaging with our son and the other kids to get their attention at the camera. I was shocked when less than 24 hours after the event on the Fourth of July weekend she sent me the link to the photos! I walked in and asked if by any chance they did walk ins, the manager was super nice and told me that they did and asked if we wanted to take pictures since we were all matching lol. I asked her about a coupon that I found on the Internet and she said let me go get my manager . the "manager" came very unprofessional with no customer service . . She had her little son with her. She couldn't talk to me at all. The only thing she said about the coupon is that it was for a different place which I didn't notice that I had a name changed.. I don't know if this place went from people picture to people place if that's the name now she said she was the owner when I asked her for her name because I didn't get any good response from her. She was distracted by her son or grandson. She didn't asked any more questions and started walking away . It just seemed that she was rushing me out /getting rid of me. I had my baby with me and I was ready to take pictures. Her name is Laura. I think that's what she said and if you are really the owner of this place, you need to get more customer service practice because you lack that a lot no wonder your place is always empty. I used to go to this place all the time since my daughters were born. I used to be named differently and then it became people Picture and now is people place. I will not return to this place for your lack of customer service and discrimination that's how I felt.

I've been a…read moreclient of Chasing Daylight Photography since 2018, and we've been getting photos with Kate every year since. Although we mostly do annual mini sessions, we've had Kate do full family sessions with wiggly twin babies, and a wigglier grandad who is impossible to get to look at the camera, it's probably harder to get him to look at the camera but Kate will get your shot. Kate has the most infectious personality, and she keeps my son locked in for the mini sessions, which are perfect for kids. Her newborn sessions were perfect for my tastes and I wanted sweet pictures without weird swaddling, composite photos and strange props. Kate knows how to pose life without looking posed (if that makes sense). She was even good at navigating a few tricky family moments with composure and humor. I recently was able to get some pictures for a headshot session and I really loved the results. Her results are always great without a bunch of fussy equipment, the locations are fun, her pricing is fair and her propensity to book up immediately shows you why she's so popular! I can't recommend her enough.
