I purchased a bunch of decoration and bachelorette stuff (shirts, straws, etc) and I mailed everything to Betsey about two weeks before the trip. Betsey decorated our AirBnB before we arrived with all of the decorations I sent her, she found an amazing balloon artist who did the coolest champagne balloon arch, fully stocked the fridge and planned a great boat day for us. Nick was able to provide us with truly incredible "big wedding" shots. Nick is extremely talented and we could not be more satisfied with his work, including my wife who has a "discerning" (critical) eye for photography. He captured all the critical moments perfectly as well as the laughs and fun in between. Equally importantly, Nick was a very cool guy and made us feel comfortable the whole time - without this we would never have loosened up enough to take quality shots. We would not hesitate to hire Nick for future events of any sort.

By the time the wedding came around our Dj just chose not to follow the plan (ex. skipped over the bridal party entrance) and didn't play very many songs off our must play list but rather just chose what he wanted. i had to repeatedly send bridesmaids up to ask to play the songs on our MUST play list, we also chose not to accept requests and this was also ignored by the Dj. Also we spoke about having family friendly music on the front half of dancing and about 3 songs in an EXTREMELY inappropriate song that we did NOT request played and I had many offended guests. Overall the music choices were not bad at all, but if i knew they were going to go against our wishes I probably would have hired elsewhere.

Their musicality coupled with the range of material and their wonderful arrangements made the decision instant. We booked them immediately, afraid we would lose our date! Couples are able to pick two different areas for the ceremony and reception all on the same property (this works great for all budgets.) Lowndes is located right downtown Charleston by Hampton Park so you don't have to deal with the narrow streets and high traffic. There is parking on the premises and plenty on the street. Lowndes also has connections with a ton of vendors (photographers, draping, florists, caterers, etc) that they can recommend. Highly recommend for how lovely everything is and how great and knowledgeable the staff is. Weddings here are always seamless. And of courses there are rooms for the bridal party to get ready and stay.

The concept of an "epic game show experience" is there, but the execution really misses the mark. When you walk in, the entire setup is basically right at the door. The waiting/lounge area sits in the middle, and the adults-only game show is in the back--right next to the bathrooms. This layout became a big distraction. While we were playing, multiple people walked in and stood right beside us as the host kept going. A manager even came out to explain the experience to them while we were trying to hear our host. We played Family Feud for about 30 minutes, which felt at least 15 minutes too long. Our family still had fun, but that's because we enjoy games and can make anything entertaining at home. The setup itself felt very cheap. "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" lasted about 10 minutes with questions that didn't feel well thought out. "The Price Is Right" involved sorting Walgreens items into piles. Then we did flip‑cup tic‑tac‑toe on a fold‑out table with duct tape lines. The biggest issue is the host. I don't want to be rude, but he just wasn't very good, and that really matters in an experience like this. Overall, this felt like a low-budget setup with a halfhearted attempt at creating a game show atmosphere. My family made the best of it, but the experience itself needs major improvement.
