I bought a dress at the St. Vital location and took it home. I tried it on for my husband and he really didn't like it at all so I decided to return it the next morning. I wouldn't have fun wearing a dress he didn't think looked amazing on me. So I went to the Polo Park location to return it. To my utter horror, it was stamped final sale! I was like what?!?! I would NEVER buy a $200 dress on final sale! The clerk did NOT tell me it was a final sale. Apparently everything on sale in the store is final. ??? I had no clue, never shopped there in my life. The manager at Polo Park said Nope can't do nothing for you, it's a final sale and that's that. I said but the lady never told me, she looked on the receipt and said oh yes, this person would have definatley told you. Ok, but she didn't. I was told that's impossible and that this dress is mine now. She called the St. Vital location and said, nope they said the same thing can't help you. I said, but I'll never wear it. She shrugged her shoulders like she could care less. I was stunned. I then left the store called the St. Vital location and she was not willing to give a refund but rather give me a gift card for the same dollar amount. Like I trust your store to go back there!! She then said, why didn't they just do this at the Polo Park location?? Uh ya!! So, now I'm stuck with a $200 gift card to a store I never wish to enter again. The manger at Polo Park was horrid, not only as a manager but as a human being. She treated me like I did something wrong. The thing that hurt the most was I told the sales lady that I had recently lost alot of weight, haven't shopped at a store like this ever and that I haven't worn a dress in well over 15+ years. Knowing that, would she not make sure I knew this was a final sale?! The WORST shopping experience EVER!! By the way, later that day I bought a $16 shirt for my daughter at Forever 21 and the clerk said, Ok so that's 16 dollars and it's a final sale, do you still wish to purchase? Wow, what a difference, now THAT'S how you inform someone of a final sale. I wonder if they work on commission at Melanie Lyne? Would explain alot. beware of shopping here, and ask the clerk...Is this a final sale???!!! read more
