My initial consultation with Mr. Sam's was very straightforward, pleasant, and professional. After that the customer service with other associate was lackluster, delayed, and just plain rude. They did not file my return in a timely manner which led to an unapproved extension that I had to inquire about as they did not even let me know. This after confirming with them we were on track to file. They had my documents for over 3 months. Mr. Sam's will not take my phone calls, even though I am receiving calls and letters regarding penalties from the Department of Revenue, and other outstanding balances. I voiced obvious concern and warranted frustration on the phone and via email. When I arranged to show up at the office, I was greeted by a secretary, holding out a sheet of paper from a door cracked open 3 inches terminating our business relationship, as if I was some kind of threat to their safety. This company is a complete joke. Their lack of customer service and professional considerations to my needs is unacceptable behavior in regards to someone who is supposed to be my advocate with the IRS and Department of revenue. This firm is either too short handed to take on new clients, or they simply don't value the needs of smaller businesses that don't have large billable hours.
