I especially like their well-made capuccino (even with soy milk). I haven't tried many of their coffee sorts, but there is a huge selection for all machines and of all kinds (I bought Espresso Napolitano). One can find their coffee in several places in the city. Go if you're a true coffee fan, or if, like me, you spent some time in Italy and miss a good cup. (There is also coffee to go and they sell reusable cups with a free refill. Clearly not a place for working especially when the roasting machine is on, but it has a nice coffeechurchcult kind of atmosphere.)

I had some banana bread which was yummy too. Prices are very modest to say the least, especially considering the location in the middle of downtown Cologne. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Smoking is allowed outside, in a designated area. The food here is very good. But where Café Reichard excels, is at their dessert.
