I was shopping there on a Wednesday evening. Somehow I left my wallet and I did not realize that until Friday. I was in Cleveland at the time in panic mode because everything was in my wallet. I called Meijers Friday afternoon told him about the losing my wallet they're using it they're not sure if I left it. I was really not sure where it I miss placed it, they looked and they had my wallet. I went to pick it up Sunday morning and I got my wallet back and everything was in my wallet. My credit cards my money. The staff at Meijers grocery store was amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you guys save my sanity. It's been years since I've been to Meijers. I will definitely go back because it is a beautiful store and the prices aren't that bad. Once again, thank you for everything. read more

This is not my normal place to Yelp about, however the shopping experience was such I HAD to. A big shout out to Trent C for his leadership at this store. My wife and I stopped in to grab a few items from the grocery section and select a new basketball ball hoop set. When we walked in, some landscaping solar lights caught our eyes since they were on clearance. We stopped to look and Trent came up and asked us if he could be of assistance. And boy was he ever!! He helped us look at all the lights and checking prices on different models we selected. He was more than accommodating. When we finally made our selection he asked what else we needed. Off we went to the sporting section. He took the time to show us what they had available and long out the differences. As we discussed the options he went to the back to check inventory so we knew what was in stock. We made our decision and he told us we could grab our few groceries and he would meet us up front. Well, we did just that and by the time we got up front, there was Trent with the hoop on a cart. He took us over to an open checkout lane and we quickly were through. He helped us take our items to our vehicle and load it up. I tell you, I have NEVER, had service like this at Meijer or any large box retailer. Now Trent is a Store Director, so someone in management, however he is leading by example. So friendly and personable to not only us but his staff. This was noted as we was with him for some time and all over the store. What an awesome shopping experience. Makes me want to go there all the time. I'm sure Trent would say he just doing his job, however ..... Outstanding job Trent!!! read more

I was so excited when Meijer started their renovation. It appeared as though they were moving to a modernization like what you would expect from a high-end Giant Eagle. But, I was so disappointed with what they have done with the meat department. It used to be (in my opinion) one of the best meat departments of any grocery store in the area but I feel like it slid into last place with the renovation and lack of a service-oriented counter. read more

I drove icy roads to get to the store and Rose in the deli prepared my order quickly. She was very friendly and polite -- very helpful. Rose should be promoted and given a raise - meijer does not want to lose such an efficient employee. read more

Came here to get some groceries and they were out of pretty much everything left and right. They also want to push these self check outs and only have two lanes open with people ten deep waiting to be checked out. Open more cashier led lanes not everyone wants to self checkout their groceries and we shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes plus some because of that. read more

Oh Meijer how I love thee! Seriously, if you shop anywhere else, I don't understand. Weekly sales and a crazy huge assortment to chose from. They have m perks, which are coupons you go online & clip. Then, when you checkout, you put in your phone number & pass code number, & the coupons automatically come off your bill! Meijer brand products are often times better than the name brand. Not to mention their products are either Meijer Natural, or Meijer Organic. The staff is so friendly & helpful. Don't be afraid to ask them anything! I tried Meijer curbside delivery for the first time today and it was AWESOME! I shopped, with my family's input, from the comfort of my couch, then picked up next day! I don't shop at Meijer very often anymore because ... A. No matter what time of day I go, the shelves are NEVER stocked with the sale items! I actually went in the middle of the night and, although the stockers were putting things on shelves, none were sale items! B. I always seem to encounter the nastiest employees. This time it was a woman named Amanda who berated the young cashier checking us out. I won't go into details but there was a misunderstanding. However, the young man was very polite and did nothing to deserve this behavior. As I watched her stand and yell at him, I could hardly believe it! The worst part was when I told Cody that he didn't deserve it, he just smiled sadly and said, "I'm used to it. It happens all the time." That's it! I'm done! I can go to Walmart. Admittedly, the shopping experience isn't any better but the shelves are at least stocked and with the price catcher on their app, they'll match the sale prices. I'm not out anything. Do not recommend this business. I tried the online order and grocery pick up twice and they have completely messed up what I've gotten, fought with me and now only gave me 10 out of 20 items and refuse to fix it and I still am not able to get ahold of anyone. read more

I have been shopping Meijer's for years. 12. Luv them. However, for the first time a few weeks ago, I was treated rudely by a racist cashier named Martha. When she said 'black people always got something to say'. I was like "WHAT!". All I did was ask her not to make my bags too heavy. You do the math. She stuffed 2, not 1, but 2, 64oz bottles of juice and 4 small cans of Planter's cashews in ONE plastic bag! Then she wouldn't take my coupons, (one of them was a Meijer coupon). I explained the problem to the manager. He didn't understand why she just couldn't have exchanged cash for the coupons. DUH! And that's what he to resolve the situation. I never did contact Meijier, life is busy. She needs her job too. read more
