I was assigned to Sharan, and I am truly grateful for the care she has provided. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and, most importantly, a wonderful listener. She takes the time to understand my concerns and makes me feel heard and cared for. I immediately switched my primary care provider to Sharan, and today I had my second visit with her. I honestly couldn't be happier with my decision. As an RN with more than 30 years of experience, I tend to be very selective when choosing a healthcare provider. I went to see her (everything was fine), but she still called back the next day expressing worry and asked me follow up questions to make sure he was feeling better. It really made me feel like she cared about my son. The office's after-hours call center is also amazing. The advice nurses are incredible and have always been so caring and helpful to a first-time mom. The office can almost always get you in for same-day appointments as well, if you have a sick child. I've even called at 2:30pm and gotten a same-day. I highly recommend Dr. Yeh and her office.

I initially tried to see Dr. Tam when I rolled my ankle - considering they are an urgent care, they didn't care too much about my ankle. Not sure how this works. I eventually made an appointment to just do a yearly physical. I schedule an 11am appointment and arrive around 10:45am. Upon checking in the front desk ladies verified my ID, insurance and if I had to correct paperwork. I sat there for roughly 10 minutes and was taken back by the MA. She did the weight, height and my vitals. My only thing is she didn't really explain what she was doing, rather she just did her thing. Working in the medical field I knew the protocol, but it would've been nice to have been informed what they are doing - especially for someone who doesn't know. I was then placed in a room and waited for the doctor. Dr. Tam did arrive in the room a little after 11:15am. Considering MDs are notoriously late, I thought this was pretty dang good. He brings in a laptop and that's where he takes all his notes. I informed him that I switched insurances and wanted to meet my new PCP and get some labs done. I then gave a in depth medical history and he noted them all and then he eventually did the normal physical. Dr. Tam was funny yet professional and was easy to speak with. He answered all my questions thoroughly and honestly this was a really good experience. He informed me that I could get my labs done down the hall at Quest Diagnostics and that my prescriptions would be sent to the location I desired. He wanted to schedule a follow up appointment post lab results to go over everything. While I think this could be done via email, it's nice that he would like to go over it; I am not opposed to making this appointment. All in all I had a great experience with Dr. Tam. I am hoping this continues because I would like for him to be my PCP for the long term.

He can only cover one topic per appointment, so it requires 3-4 appointments for him to cover all the ailments for a typical patient. He also promised to do certain research in between appointments but did not do so, so he is unreliable as a doctor. Overall I would only recommend Dr. Tam if you have no other options. Ultimately I decided to switch to another provider to get better care.

I had been slowly declining: less energy/enthusiasm for life, constant headaches, poor sleep, poor digestion, I was constantly getting ill with this or that. I saw a number of doctors, one of which told me I had mono (it seemed to fit). Almost two years later my wife found Dr. Patel and I went to see him. He was the first doctor who really listened to me. If I told him about a new symptom, he took it seriously. His testing was thorough. After being diagnosed with mold illness and Marcons, I began treatment. It has taken two years, but I feel more energetic than I have in a loooong time. My brain works again, I can work out again, I can get the occasional bad night's sleep and still function, my headaches are nearly gone, I sleep through the night. My appointment lasted less than 15 minutes and went through all the normal practices like taking blood pressure, height, weight, etc. Nothing special at all. A month later I was hit with a bill for almost $500 because they coded it as a non-preventative visit saying that taking my vitals is a separate code. Absolutely not. Then, when I explained that even if that was true, the CPT code they used was for appointments that are longer than 45 minutes, they said it was because it accounted for the time the doctor took to take notes. I was in the room with the doctor for less than 10 minutes, and if it takes him 25 minutes longer than the entirety of my visit to write standard notes (WITH THE HELP OF AN AI ASSISTANT) then this clinic is incompetent to say the least. While my initial appointment was quick and painless, the surprise billing and dizzying redirection of the staff completely soured the experience. When post spinal fusion surgery, I had a GI issue, he gave me an 'in-office' exam, ordered tests, and accurately diagnosed the condition, followed by a rx. for the state of the art medication. I'm grateful that I have him as the physician overseeing everything. I needed a PCP, as we all do, otherwise you can find yourself in heap of a mess, so I called to verify that they accept my insurance. If you have insurance but get a huge bill, call and ask to have it recoded. My first appointment for a heathcare review went well - lots of questions. Judith advised me I no longer needed routine screenings for cervical cancer yet only the week before my DOCTOR, a specialists, wanted to see me every 3 years, so this center should not be your only source for health information particularly if you have other health issues/concerns. The office is comfortable and spacious. The bad fake Fiddle Leaf Fig trees look out of place in the nice office, especially as they sit in front of gorgeous windows with plenty of light. Real Fiddle Leafs are ridiculously easy to care for, and there are places like officeplants.com that will bring and care for live plants. There are health benefits to live plants too, but ok. The lights over the seating area are huge white flowers and are amazing. You do have to download the app but it seems all medical groups either have an app to communicate with patients or will be getting one. UCLA, Sutter Health and Stanford, all share access to your health history and now prescriptions are all electronically sent through a main database, "Prescription Drug Monitoring System". Government agencies, like police departments, have access to PDMS, so let's face it, our healthcare is no longer as private as we'd like. The app is faster when you're expecting lab results or have a question, you'll get responses and results much faster. Overall, a great experience.

She is a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is very inquisitive about the growth and progress that my children are experiencing. More often than not, she gives me some extra information to take home so that I could read up on issues that are concerning me. Mama homework! It is so comforting to get professional guidance and recommendations on how to improve my parenting skills based on my actual children's personalities. Two years ago my husband changed job (and hence insurance) and we had to change to Kaiser. We tried 6 pediatricians in that time and all of them were no where near as helpful or as informative as Dr Yeh. Anyway long story short we are back with Dr Yeh and I couldn't be happier. Both my daughters had a positive experience with seeing her this week and they look forward to their next appointment. The giant fish tank in the waiting room is a joy for curious little minds, although the fish seem to be on vacation at the moment thanks to coronavirus. Usually it is wonderful! All of the nurses that I have met there have been lovely and warm (and very fast at vaccinations!). I certainly don't feel like just a number like I did at Kaiser.
