Fair enough system. You can order 5 dishes per round, and there're 5 rounds. Choose from a huge range of sushi and hot food (Ebi (prawn) Tempura is my favourite- ordered it twice!). I was here in March and the system involved a sheet of paper and pen and you ticked off the dishes you want, but this time there was an interactive menu on a tablet which was amazing. Even though we didn't speak Dutch, the waiter explained the options clearly, it was simple and innovative. Warm Sake was great too. The waiters weren't the friendliest and just kind of threw the food at you, but some staff were nicer than others. Also the desserts were pretty lacking, just included either ice cream, which was lovely, or some fruit and jelly options. Chef Yamamoto serves gorgeous dishes, which he prepares front of house for all to see. His broth is delicious and the tofu was meltingly soft. His signature of 'Griet' fish done 3 ways is a revelation. The jelly is given texture by the addition of Griet roe, and the sashimi of the same fish is lightly cured and seasoned by being pressed in seaweed for 24h. Wonderful dish where everything just works. Price and quality are startling with various appetisers and immaculate dishes coming your way before finishing with a plate of generous sushi. Otoro tuna, Unagi etc. we'll crafted, with his rice being exceptional. The staff is sweet and friendly, and due to the fact that the small team is just starting, you get the feel of eating a surprisingly excellent meal in someone's sitting room. So, let me say that I've been to this place at least 30x and I've probably eaten every item of sashimi, nigiri, and half of the rolls. I still go back. It's cheap. And you can drink Stella for 2 euros while you fill your gullet with fresh fish for 5. No kidding. The à la carte is cheap. They can be really busy some weekends, so reserve a place, or prepare to wait. Oh and the people are super nice, despite the busy scene.
