Both of my kids are also currently doing Candid corrective aligners, and Dr. Patel has been great throughout the process. He takes the time to explain things and makes sure everything is going well. Overall, we've been very happy with our experience at Floss Dental and would definitely recommend Dr. Patel and his team!

My son recently had a terrible experience where they messed up the filling and after a 3 hour event, they made him come back later and he was in terrible pain for almost a week. I recently had 3 old fillings replaced with new fillings. I was also in pain for days and the work was no where near the quality of the original Dr. Lukin for several reasons. Here's the straw that broke the camel's back. I will no longer be a customer. I have a teeth cleaning appointment in 4 days from now, and they sent me a text message asking me to confirm the appointment yesterday. I didn't respond in 24 hours and they cancelled my appointment for 4 days from now. Ugh. They seem to have too much business and don't seem to care if they run some of it off.

My wife went in for a cleaning and they recommended root canal while our prior dentist just recommended a filling was all necessary. I went in few weeks later and they couldn't find anything wrong with my teeth, so they recommend deep cleanings, not just one session but two sessions. Which out of pocket will cost close to $300 dollars for something normally my insurance will cover for the standard cleaning. To add insult to injury to patients time, I have to come back for the deep cleaning, they don't have time. Dr John Varghese is not only highly intelligent, but he clearly shows he cares about his patients. He patiently went through each step of the plan to get my MIL's teeth back to normal so she could enjoy life in her late 80's. I liked them so much I too switched to them and got my first X-rays and cleaning. I have issues with grinding my teeth and it's getting to the point where I needed to assess what I need to do to protect my teeth so that I can still use them as I get older. It's my first time personally so that is where I am at. But I appreciate their honesty, transparency, guidance, and professionalism. I'll be recommending this place to my hubby next.

When I arrived, I asked the front desk to verify my insurance and schedule an appointment for Thursday 1/22/26. The front desk staff refused to verify my insurance and said they would "do it on Thursday." At the time, there were no other patients in the office, and part of the office lights were turned off, so they were clearly not busy. I still left a copy of my information and insurance card and was told it would be handled later. Today, Wednesday 1/21/26, the front desk called me and told me I needed to contact my insurance myself. Since verifying insurance is a basic part of scheduling, I canceled the appointment. I'm not looking for an apology -- I'm writing this so future patients know what to expect. This was the least helpful front desk experience I've ever had at a dental office.
