Megan was referred to us by a trusted family member--also a realtor, but in a different state--so we knew she was going to be good. In the end she exceeded every one of our expecations Our goal was to find a small condominium in the city for our daughter. Given our lack of knowledge about the downtown neighborhoods AND condominiums (we've only bought houses in the suburbs), we wanted to enlist someone with that expertise who would also have our best interests in mind. In 2012 I wrote a review for Meagan, so this is an update. Eight years after selling our first property, Megan has helped us buy four more (3 rentals and one primary home), two of them being short sales. Now I have heard people say that short sale properties were a nightmare to negotiate and close, but I have no idea what they mean. Each time was so easy on my part thanks to her professionalism and attention to detail. I am now living overseas and decided to sell all my properties and retire. Two were sold in 2019 and two in 2020 during the pandemic. I was extremely concerned trying to sell during the pandemic and I could not return to the United States. However, my concern was short lived, she uses cutting edge technology that transcends borders, literally. Even with the time difference and all the documents that go along with a real estate transactions, they all closed on time and for top dollar. We had just stopped working with another Realtor who just could not seem to find the right houses for us, and we were working in a tough market (August of this year) and a little discouraged. January 11, 2019 About 4.5 years ago I was using on line reviews to search for a real estate agent in the San Diego area. At the time we had lived 30 years in the Spokane WA area. Our son had short notice acceptance to a grad program at San Diego State and my husband and I had decided to purchase a condo near the SDSU campus for his housing and for a potential second home/rental property. We were on a short time line as our son's graduate program was to start in about 60 days. It was a little overwhelming to start a search on line using Zillow, etc so I knew I needed to contact a real estate agent for help. So to the internet search I went, looking for reviews of agents in the San Diego area. In my search, I came across a strong candidate name Megan Beauvais. She had great reviews and after speaking with her on the phone we proceeded forward. She gathered information about likes, dislikes, goals etc and set us up with an owner portal which she used to send us properties she thought might interest us. We began to go thru the portal and found many of interest and decided to fly from Spokane to San Diego to meet with Megan. We spent about three days with Megan. She had arranged all viewing appointments on short notice and was a pleasure to have her drive us around the SDSU area and learn about the different communities. She encouraged us to look beyond basic student housing type condos as we had told her we might also want to use the condo as a snowbird retirement home. I so appreciated Megan's organization skills, pleasant attitude, extreme professionalism and concern to find the best condo to suit our needs. We purchased a condo, closed via the internet from Spokane WA and Megan saw us thru all these steps long distance without a hitch. Our son and a room mate lived in the condo for 2.5 years and then we rented the condo out for 1.5 years. Megan was able to put us in touch with a trusted property manager for the rental period. During the time since we had purchased the condo my husband and I explored other retirement areas and decided to sell both our Spokane home and the San Diego condo and move to Wickenburg Ranch Arizona. With such a wonderful experience with Megan in our purchase of the condo, there was no doubt but to contact Megan to represent us in the selling of the condo. Megan was able to coordinate with the property manager to give 60 days notice to the tenants and also to coordinate getting the condo clean, painted and ready for market. She recommended staging the condo prior to listing the property and made all the arrangements with the staging company. This was also on done on short notice. The condo looked fabulous after staging and the pictures for the listing were very impressive. Megan reviewed her selling price analysis with us and we were happy with the selling price. We had a purchasers within one week and again Megan helped us close the transaction long distance from Spokane. Megan is very intelligent, always stays calm, follows up on her to do list and is a kind and caring person. In all our dealings I always felt that Megan had our very best interest in mind.
