I recently lost part of an earring that had originally been custom-made elsewhere. I had always felt the closure wasn't particularly secure, so when one earring was lost, I was heartbroken. I brought the remaining earring to Barclay's hoping they could recreate it. Not only were they able to make a perfect match, but they also suggested a more secure screw-back closure and upgraded the pearls. When I originally had the earrings custom-made, I specifically asked whether the closure could be made more secure and was told it wasn't possible. Barclay's immediately identified a simple solution that not only solved the problem but likely would have prevented me from losing the original earring in the first place. The finished earrings are absolutely beautiful, and I have complete confidence that they will stay securely in place. Long story short they gave me someone else's CAD file when I sent them my own custom pic. They sent me 2 designs as far as details on how I wanted my pendant. Instead of saying my bad I misheard or misinterpreted what you were trying to convey, he says " you liked the details on that one so that's what I made". Make it make sense, I sent you MY PIC multiple times. Let's back it up a bit. I called once a week trying to get it done so that it can arrive with my chain. I even left my phone number one day after unsuccessfully trying 3 times in 1 day. "He left for the day, he'll be back monday". I called monday from my job and cell phone and as i'm calling he's emailing me saying "we're busy we can't answer the phone" but you see me calling to address the situation and you have time to email and service customers instore. Make it make sense.I paid $15K in total. Here comes the upcharge "oh 31g only fills the back you are going to need at least 60g to fill it out". I would've paid an additional $2800 for that. I say that to say this. Respect, Honor and Integrity goes a long way. Yes I canceled my orders. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
