A busy chippy on a Friday lunch time is a good sign, but the queues were almost out the door. Fishtastic's combined a traditional fish and chip shop (counter, typical menu range) with modern practices - cardboard boxes instead of waxed paper and sustainability info. On the wall is helpful screen showing where their current fish stock was sourced! I ordered Haddock out of habit as I prefer to have my fish cooked to order, but their Cod was sustainable too. The fish was cooked perfectly, chips were kept hot without going soggy (probably down to the box) and a can of Cream Soda washed it all down a treat. Fishtastic is a little out of my way, but for quality fish and chips like this I'll be coming back! Keep up the great work.

The food is second to none, prices are a little more expensive than other local shops but you pay for what you get. Only thing lacking is the service which can be a little slow at times but the food makes it worth the wait. All fish is prepared fresh for you giving you the comfort in knowing that it's fresh all the time. Also nice to see a 'massive' selection of fish for you from cod to hake and skate. Well worth a try

Everything so far is absolutely fantastic. Riverford's sales team were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. As a bonus for signing up, we got to take home a free cookbook written by the chefs at Riverford's organic farm restaurant and get our third box free. The sales team was also wrapping up so they sent us home with a bunch of bananas, grapes, an apple and a pear. Each was juicy and perfectly ripe. Our area is part of the Tuesday delivery route. The Riverford team took notes about what to do with our box should we not be home - very thoughtful and a good fit for working professionals. Our box was delivered just after 6am. The delivery person was thoughtful enough not to ring the bell to wake us and followed the leave instructions instead. What I thought was a newspaper or coupon flyer, was the lovely surprise of waking up to fresh veg on the stoop. The boxes are a great deal for organic vegetables. I'd say we pay about £3 more than for the same quantity from Tesco, which is definitely not including organic, environmentally conscious grown food. Also, everything is grown and harvested super close to us, so we don't have to worry about the veg rotting in 2-3 days! I'm so impressed with the quality and taste of the veg we received. We used the recipe book to make our first meal - a leek tart with spinach salad. It was scrumptious. The recipes are well written, diverse, and easy to follow. Riverford does an excellent job of making their crops accessible for home cooks and expanding your recipe repertoire. I highly recommend and look forward to the delicious veg that will be delivered to our door in the coming months.

I shopped around a bit but they were still cheaper with the offer on so I went with them anyway. Got a large tub of protein powder, and was pleasantly surprised by the delivery. It turns out my purchase weighed over 2 kilos (2.28!), so I got free next day delivery. If anyone else decides to buy from them I definitely recommend they try and get this, as long as it's saving money. I've been mixing the powder in as shakes and stuff, etc., for a while now, and I think it's helped a lot. I've been able to get much more protein in my diet without upping the calories too much, which is what I wanted. I'd happily recommend them to others. I'd just advise to take a look at what's going cheap, otherwise they're a bit more high end. When I went they were the cheapest option at the time, so it was fine for me, but I'd continue to look around when I go back.
