J & D Towing / Mega Auto Towing from Opa Locka picked up my SUV for Wheelzy, who I initially contacted to sell my truck to. They are in Minnesota, and I am in Miami. They advertise that they pay CASH at the time of pick-up, and that was what I expected. However, on the day of pickup, I learned they would give me a check. I was not comfortable with that, and my attorney said don't do it.
Since Wheezy offered $200 more than the last offer I had received, I decided to meet and look at the check. Wheezy said it was their corporate check but not a cashier's check. Long story short, I deposited my check remotely, and it was accepted by my bank, and everything went well.
I deducted 1 star because the advertising is not true even though the check was good. But that was not J & D Towing's fault. Juan, the driver, did his job as he was instructed to do. He probably had the cash in his pocket anyway.
Wheezy is a well organized company that is excellent at communication! They are fast, communicate well, and follow up well. J & D was also on target and did their job well. I would work with them again. read more
