This review represents my experience here during the COVID-19 timeframe…read more I went here to pick up a medical supply for my arm which my physician prescribed to me. Before deciding to go here, I checked out their website and their website indicated that customers needed to contact them before showing up. Since there were a few Slawner Ortho locations on their website, I sent an email to the email address shown on their website mentioning that my physician prescribed me a product and gave their location as a possible place for me to pick it up. I received a reply to my email the following morning which I found to be very fast asking me for a picture of the prescription so that they could determine whether they had the item or not. I sent a picture of my prescription via email and the person emailed me back and said that I would be able to show up for this item and also informed me that it was custom made item so I needed to show up for measurements one day and then return to pick it up once it was ready. I mentioned that I would be available any day for 8:00am and wanted to make sure that the Slawner Ortho location was one which was convenient to me. I was told it was this location (on Jean-Talon Ouest). I also asked how much the item would cost and was told that this item was covered by medicare. I drove there and there was free (reserved) parking right in front of the establishment. It is a few blocks within walking distance of Namur metro station if taking public transit. I parked my car and waited for them to open at 8:00am. Once inside, I used the hand sanitizer in the front of the store and I was seen almost immediately. For my first appointment, they took my measurements for the device and told me that I would be contacted once the device was ready. They told me that it would take under 2 weeks. Surprisingly I received a call from them within a few days letting me know that the device was ready. I asked them if I could show up for 8:00am the following day and was told that I would be able to do so. When I showed up, I was seen almost immediately and the person showed me how to put the device on and gave me a few words on how/when to use it.
