Whatever I did to it, it required medical attention and rather than clog the emergency department over my stupidity, I went here to the Mid State Mediquick Location. This place is fast, friendly and the staff from the physician assistants, nurses and medical assistants are very knowledgeable. After ruling out a fracture, they quickly wrapped my foot, gave me a walking boot of some sort that I probably wont wear, gave me a prescription for some pain meds and sent me on my merry way albeit hobbling along with crutches. Excellent location, I think I had to wait all of 5 minutes and everyone was so nice. Smarter choice than going and sitting in the emergency department and surely smarter than what I did to injure myself.

I was in a private room and started getting a little teary-eyed on my own when the pain got worse and the nurse noticed when she came to check on me. The doctor booked into the room a very short time later and quickly diagnosed me as having conjunctivitis in both eyes and an ear infection in both ears. The doctor was very sweet and asked if I was under a lot of stress since that type of thing doesn't typically happen all together, and she made a lot of excellent recommendations for avoiding cold liquids and sticking strictly with warm or room temperature drinks until I healed up. I have had a couple of ear infections since then and haven't had another doctor take time to mention that helpful tip since then. I'm not sure if the same staff is still there, but I greatly appreciated their concern and the time they took to make sure I had all of the info I needed to get better as quickly as possible.

When I went there was only 1 other person waiting for someone in the waiting area. I got into an exam room within 10 minutes. Once vitals were taken, I had a long wait to see dr,or pa, around a half hour. The person who finally came was pleasant, efficient, a bit abrupt as rushed due to an emergency, so the visit was short. At least I got taken care of. When I left the waiting area was full, with people standing. Thankfully I got there before the crowd. The wait time once checked in can be very long - My daughter had waited an hour one morning even to get into an exam room. I recommend going off- hours if possible to avoid spending a very long time there and getting minimal attention. It does work ae a place to go if need.

I knew l was coming today as l had booked my ride a week in advance so there was plenty of time to make an appt had l known this. Not one person, administrative or medical ever mentioned the time l could have saved had l made an "urgent" appointment. I was sitting there waiting patiently, "in the dark." I did finish my medical appointment and the medical staff is always incredible. That little time saving nugget would have saved me well over an hour. In spite of the delay and no explanation of why people who arrived later were seen incredibly faster than me, I'm still extremely pleased with their medical care. I really miss the x-ray equipment that was moved to Berlin. That really made this location shine. The medical staff is incredible. They are good listeners. They are really thorough at asking both open ended and detailed questions which brought out other options pointing to why l have been sick. My test was negative for strep so l asked if it might be a good idea to do a PCR covid test. We did exactly that. The bottom line is that l still may possibly be suffering from hay fever. Or maybe tge flu, but we didn't rest for flu or RSV. I'm still at a bit of a loss. We ruled out a few vital things and I have a broad sprectrum prescription for a sinus infection. I get those frequently so l am hoping this RX kicks this out. A little extra administrative training could make this facility an even better urgent care facility. Please bring back the x-rays. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'm still giving them a 8.5, as the medical care is excellent and the location is perfectly located. With x-ray equipment, they are easily rated a 10. Signage in the facilities followed up by verbal reminders indicating "appointments" would be extremely helpful. I really only realized it was avaliable tonight after reading reviews after my day visiting them. My goodness! Who would have guessed? It's a great idea, had l known. Duh. It's brilliant to be able to plan ahead via an appointment to be treated in an "urgent care medical facility." I can't be the only person who had no idea of the appointment availability. I just read another review and realized we never discussed a flu test. I've never been tested for the flu so l had no idea there is a flu test. That might be another reason l may be feeling poorly. A friend mentioned RSV testing as well, but it's too late now

Wish I read the yelp reviews before going. Of course it was an urgent matter so there wasn't much…read moretime to shop around. Last Monday, I was feeling tightness and pressure in my chest and my heart rate was super high, so I wanted a doctor to listen to my heart and lungs and do EKG to be sure I hadn't or wasn't about to have a heart attack. It was end of day and they saw me promptly and were nice. My heart seemed fine, good EKG. I asked for a Covid test because I am visiting my 5 year old unvaccinated niece and something was off so I wanted to be very certain. We did the Covid test (not rapid one; regular) results were going to be in "about a day". Okay great. In about a day, I was emailed a pdf and the subject of the email was transcription from Stony Creek. I wasn't sure if this was just the notes from my visit or test results, there was no note with the email besides this: ***Please do not reply to this email*** If there is a problem with the attached document, please contact BUSINESS clinic at 203-483-4580 And then I went to open the email and it was PASSWORD PROTECTED. I tried everything I could think of for a password; social, phone number, email, first name, last name, date of birth...nothing worked...so I called the clinic. I began calling immediately and asking someone to call me back and let me know how to open the password protected email. No one called me back. A day or two later when I was calling, you could no longer even leave messages for the clinic as the mailbox was full. Still no one called me back. Listen, I was trying to be patient...it is Covid, a strange world and I know health care systems are stretched, but at this point I was going to be spending a lot of time with my niece and I wanted to be sure I was clear. So I called again. Finally I was able to reach the receptionist who connected me to someone else to give me my test results. The person who gave me my test results was really, really, really mean. She told me my results were negative and mentioned they sent me my test results in and email days ago. Her tone was horrific. I responded with how yes I received a password protected email and wasn't able to open it as I didn't know the password. And I let her know I had been calling for days. She said, the password is "1, 2, 3, 4" and "You've only been calling for three days!"...I have a few questions Why even password protect if you are going to do something like 1,2, 3, 4; and I'm sorry did I miss a memo about this being the standard for passwords in health care? Second, while I guess she was technically right that I had only been calling to get my results for 3 days. The facts are that I was at the urgent care Monday night getting the test, and I did not receive my results until just now...SATURDAY morning. That is a long time to wait when trying to be sure you are not spreading a very dangerous virus to your 5 year old niece AND a week is a long time to wait when you are visiting from California and only around for two weeks. Whomever I spoke to should not work for Stony Creek, they definitely shouldn't be able to speak to clients. Terrible.

Please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time coming here…read more I had called beforehand to get a wait time because usually the wait time is horrible. After being told that there were two providers in, and no one in the waiting room, I quickly got out of bed and rushed to the urgent care center. Upon arrival, I was the only one in the waiting room. I checked in with a girl, and she said they will be with you "shortly." How fast is shortly to them? I waited about a half hour with no one else waiting before me, for about 30 minutes. At this point I thought to myself I'm in for the long haul. A young medical assistant took me in and got all of my information including, medications I am currently on, and any allergies etc, then asked what's going on. I told her the whole story. Now I get another "doctor" who come to find out is a student PA. So if it's a student PA, how about we don't waste time, and have him observe the PA, because people are sick like me. He examined me head to toe, and asked me forty different questions. Next is the regular PA - we're on hour 2 now. I have to retell the whole story again. He gets confused by my story and prescribes nothing, because the student told him a bunch of stuff as well. Clearly I am congested but I don't "sound like it" and I'm coughing my brains out but that's fine, nothing for you. Just take an OTC med which I've been doing. He asks if I have these "pearls" which I know about but I only have ten left.. then looks at my chart which is now connected to Yale and sees all my information and starts questioning me about my refills of inhalers which I told the MA about in the first place, but she didn't write it down. He then calls my record "a bit muddy"... and he won't prescribe anything. This is completely disrespectful for a PA to say to a patient. So in conclusion, I wasted 3 hours of my time, to get nowhere and I left sicker than I came in. So, in conclusion, I won't be returning here. I hope it improves but I don't see it changing anytime soon.
