I was quoted $102/month with discounts for completing a defensive driving course ( paid $60 and sat through a grueling course for 6 hours) , signed up for the safe driving app ( tracks driving) and wrote two positive reviews . Later, they increased it to $168, claiming the underwriter found "points," even though I took the course to have that cleared. When I asked for written documentation showing how the premium was calculated, they refused. I wrote to Jon Farney , President and Chief Executive Officer of State Farm and received a letter back from Alan Wheeler which doubled down on his bait-and-switch . Guardian, the insurance carrier--like every carrier, has made my disability quite difficult but Freelancers union came to my rescue while I was out on an appeal (which i prevailed on). Make sure you use CHAT gpt to help guide you with all and any policies. I wouldnt have prevailed if I hadnt had that tool to see how Guardian Life and disability was trying to not pay me......back to Freelancers union: They(Jonathan Gray) really came through for me in every way and i highly recommend them.
