The pain doesn't linger afterwards, and it is not unbearable during the procedure (it's not pleasant, but not unbearable--like a hot zap) The squishy stress ball helps, but after the first few appointments, I didn't even need it. Parking is easy, but be careful! The cops like to hide in surrounding lots because it is really easy to speed on that road and the speed limit changes right around AAC.
