General care: great EMTs, paramedics. They take great care of my mom. Workers are not the issue it's management. Work: This is a family-owned and operated business with four owners. Two of the owners have very high expectations and can be quite harsh, often yelling at employees. The other two owners are much kinder and more supportive. If you don't have a strong mindset, this job is not for you. You're likely to be yelled at frequently, even for things that aren't your fault. Management tends to place the blame on employees rather than owning up to mistakes. They claim to treat everyone like family, but being mistreated is hardly a family atmosphere. The phrase is often used by those who mistreat others. Pros: Great coworkers, Molly the Medic Dog, good salary and benefits, management does reward staff. Cons: Two of the owners can be difficult, yelling and unprofessional behavior, being mistreated, lack of accountability from owners, and a general feeling of being used as a punching bag. If you don't have a tough skin, I would recommend looking elsewhere read more

My family had to call an ambulance for me. I was an excruciating pain and was probably vomiting for about 10 hours. (Bowel obstruction) The two paramedics came in and took my blood pressure, blood sugar asked me very few questions. I told them I was in excruciating pain, up all night and couldn't stop vomiting. I was still stretching at this point. Apparently they didn't think I needed an ALS ambulance which then means no IV, no pain medication or no anti-emetic until I reach the hospital! So the nurses in the emergency room would have to do all this. Meanwhile, I would have to wait for help! Thank goodness for the emergency room nurse who took one look at me and called their supervisor at medic and asked them why they did not treat me in the correct manner and now I would have to wait even longer for my care! As she was talking to them, another nurse put an IV in me as quick as she could and got me the anti-emetic/pain, relief! The EMTs, who took me to the hospital were great, but they was nothing they could do for me, but give me a ride!!! I am a Nurse myself and I tried to convey to the paramedics that I needed help but they weren't listening. They didn't seem to care, so thanks for the ride and No help! Horrible customer service in the billing department. She refused yo take insurance information for almost the entire 5 minute call only to say they had it and would not be billing them because it was a auto accident. Still hasn't tried billing insurance and threatening to send me to collections while I try and get insurance to pay. Horrible Horrible Horrible read more

Will respond to a 911 call, provide un-needed medical attention to run up bill, fail to provide needed medical attention, refuse health insurance, charge thousands of dollars for their time, refuse to respond to complaints except to send your account to collections. pretty sure the only reason they are still in business is the amount of $ they kick back to elected officials. a criminal racket subsidized by tax dollars. a malicious organization that should not be allowed to be in business. shameful. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. A team came to our hospital for a patient transport and the EMT by the name of Kenny was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. He cussed at myself and other staff members in front of our conscious patient using the "F" word multiple times. read more

I was hit by a drunk driver!! I was taken to hospital via ambulance. I received a bill for 3,330! To much of my surprise they would not take my medical insurance!! Why am I having to suffer for something that was out of my control?? read more

Recently I was admitted to the hospital and needed to stay for several days of tests. Medic Ambulance was sent to transport me to one of these tests. Austin and Tobias were my EMT's. They were both warm, friendly, professional and had excellent bedside manner. They treat you like their family. Their ambulance was very clean and organized. Their main priority was my safety and COMFORT. Thank you both. read more

My poor mother had the misfortune of needing a transport from these guys. 15 minutes from the hospital to her care center - we drive it every day. Sadly, their A/C was not working in the car and it took them over ONE HOUR to transit from the hospital. She was exhausted and overheated on arrival, and she is 87 years old. Just terrible, and abusive. We have tried to call them but they never answer their phone. Avoid! read more

They seem to like to play their sirens in disregard of the surrounding community. Ever since they centralized their services on Couch we have constant sirens. I am sure it is not necessary as first responders are required to exercise caution when driving even if they have their sirens blaring. Their are many towns who have ordinances preventing this sort of noise pollution. I think the City should audit to see if they are over using Code 3 lights and sirens to pad their pocketbook read more

Very unprofessional staff. Friday aug 24, 2018, medic ambulance Service was called by my co workers to take me to KP Vallejo. I had high BP, nauseated, vomiting and short of breath. I had to close my eyes during transport because the light makes me more dizzy. I felt something is being done to my hand so I asked" are you trying to put an IV on me?" That's the time the staff said YES. Aren't they supposed to tell the patient what they are going to do before they do something? I vomited during the transport, paramedic made me hold the vomit bag with my left hand where my O2 saturation monitor is. My IV line is on my right. After vomiting I asked for a tissue to wipe my mouth with. He gave a gauze and made me wipe my mouth myself. I'm in distress and he made me do things myself. Weren't they taught what comforting patients means? Then I asked for another vomit bag before they get me to the emergency room because I know I'm going to vomit again. I was already in the admitting and I didn't get a bag.I almost vomited on the floor. Good thing the ER nurse gave me one. read more
