My group and I met, for about an hour. Spent 25 minutes on a high pathetical question. Basically calculating what a home caregiver would charge to stay over night. Not knowing the current charges, not having a home health care provider etc. and not needing an overnight caregiver. Waste of time and energy and money. Twenty Five minutes later, I suggested we get off that subject and discuss what we were really facing. At the end of the session she charged me $450 dollars for basically an hour, no invoice. I felt that was way too much to charge for an hour of mediation that really did not have any resolutions. I tried to resolve the problem of the high cost with Maria to no avail. I then called Karen Abrams, Karen told me Maria was contracted through SFMC, and Maria should have told me there was a two hour minimum and should have never collected the money I paid her without first supplying a detailed invoice. Karen did not get anything resolved other than telling me she had no control over what Maria did because Maria worked independently through the contract. Really? I would NOT recommend this Center to anyone. I felt the money was more important than helping people resolve their issues.
