I truly cannot express how grateful I am that my ex-husband & I used Nancy Gabriel's divorce mediation service. It was extremely important to both of us that we remain amicable through the divorce process, especially for the sake of our children. Nancy helped us navigate the entire process with empathy, respect, and non-judgmental advice. As to be expected, some parts were difficult, and my ex-husband and I did always not see eye to eye. I cannot imagine how we would have come to a compromise without Nancy. What I really appreciate about Nancy is that she makes it clear from the beginning that our children's best interests were her priority. Throughout the mediation process, she made sure to keep our kids at the forefront of the conversation. This mindset really helped us push aside our egos and make better decisions. My ex-husband and I are still friendly, and we are able to do things together with the children. I wonder if that would be possible if we used divorce lawyers. I truly doubt it. For that, I will be forever grateful to Nancy. If you are going through a divorce, I highly suggest that you give Mediation Around the Table a try. I wish all divorces could be done this way! -Mika read more

We attended mediation with Nancy earlier this week and I really wasn't sure what to expect from a mediator. Nancy was truly amazing. Although we figured out from this meeting that we aren't ready for mediation yet Nancy remained unbiased, was able to redirect the conversation when it got off topic and really maintained a professional demeanor in a not so professional situation. I can not thank Nancy enough for meeting with us and giving us honest feedback at the end. She's a wonderful woman. read more

If you're anything like me, I go directly to an attorney when formulating business partnerships and settling minor disputes as any business person would do. I suppose the same could be said for issues of a personal nature when couples/spouses break-up, or for various family disputes too. Needless to say, part of the foundation of any business is operating capitol and cash-flow to get the things you need to function. Once more, like any business person, we do our best to obtain the highest quality when obtaining these things, for the lowest cost/price etc. So there's this gal, Nancy Gabriel that's part of my morning networking group. I've visited with her briefly from time to time as she's always been quite hospitable and very approachable. After my attorney quoted me $475.00 per hour, for 10 hours to assist in formulating my most recent partnership due to expansion, I finally asked Nancy to lunch. She explained her business Mediation Around The Table. After understanding the clear differences of lawyer versus mediator and furthermore understanding her experience as an effective communicator, her mediation experience, and her history as a paralegal, it made clear sense for my business partner and I to hire Nancy to formulate this recent partnership. Oh, and her invoice? IT WAS A JOY TO PAY in comparison to what my attorney wanted! Nancy handled everything we needed plus had the knowledge and know-how to think of things we didn't. She did everything as well as any attorney I've ever worked with. From now on, legal issues go to my attorney, but for everything else Nancy Gabriel /Mediation Around The Table is my absolute go-to. She gets my endorsement and I highly recommend her! read more

Separating from a partner is never an easy process and things can quickly get complicated and uncomfortable, especially when property and children are involved. Our goal was to minimize the impact on our son and also be friends as we are both committed to co-parenting - easier said than done! Nancy was amazing. She brought up questions we never imagined and help keep us from dragging things through the swamp, all while successfully guiding us towards our goal and keeping our son front and center, as we wanted. As far as a separation goes, I can't imagine it going any nicer. I highly, highly recommend Nancy and Mediation Around the Table. read more

I met Nancy at a divorce workshop while I was considering my options for how to proceed with our divorce. We were trying to part ways as peacefully as possible and it seemed crazy not to at least try mediation first since the cost was so good and my ex and I could still manage to be in the same room together. Nancy was so professional from start to finish, outlined the process and the costs very clearly, and stuck to every details. She was 100% neutral in the mediation and really helped us know what topics we might want to discuss and gave us great ideas on possible ways to structure our divorce agreement. She has a very easy going presence, kind demeanor and gentle conversation style. I can tell she is confident and experienced at what she does and felt like we were in very good hands the whole time. There is no easy way to end a marriage, but I felt so totally lucky that we were able to avoid a single lawyer, thousands of dollars in fees, and maintain a decent relationship enough that we have been able to peacefully co-parent our kids after the separation. I 100% recommend Nancy and have had other friends since go to her with similar happy experiences. read more

My experience with this company was interesting and surprising as when I thought of mediation I only thought of lawsuits or the avoidance thereof. What I found was a valuable resource for business. Mediation is about understanding that two people or two companies are never equal as we are constantly evolving at different speeds in many categories... Equal is found in math, not humans... fair and equitable is what we can hope to establish with people through mediation. It is done through words and communication and by asking great questions. Nancy can help you improve the communication between you and your obstacles in life and I recommend her highly. read more

Unfortunately, my wife and I divorced after 11 years. I did my research and realized that using separate lawyers is NOT the way to go. They actually make things much worse. They run up the bill so high that you end up sacrificing what your property your trying to save to the Attorneys. Nancy is a true angel. She is not on anyone's side. She is on the side of making sure both spouses feel the assets are divided correctly. She is kind , compassionate and caring. Whats even better is her services cost only a few hundred dollars, and we have over 1.5 million in assets. So dont go to the lawyers and lose everything, GO TO NANCY!!!
