They send you a link to a video where Dr. Chastanet explains what the program is and is not. You have to sign an agreement for their "No show penalty" clause. I figured if they put this much emphasis on explaining things before you even stepped in the door this was a place I could put my trust in. Dr. Chastanet and her entire staff have been fantastic guiding me through the program with my health always at the top of her concern. The office is always very accommodating with schedule requests. Additionally, on the first month check in (at 3 weeks) the doctor told me I had not done a good job and needed to do more because I 'only' lost 2 lbs a week. I worked really hard to do that and was so discouraged and defeated by this. I tried not to let it affect me, but it derailed me because I felt like nothing I was doing was good enough and he was going to be nasty to me again. Not supportive or encouraging- more interested in hearing himself talk than listening to me. Sage advice like wear a Fitbit- which I already do. It is obvious that the main goal of this place is to push the hormone therapy. If you aren't interested in that- don't go here. Front office staff are lovely. I have worked with diet doctors before, and they were wonderful. There is no reason to put up with this - go elsewhere. I won't support this business with my money.
