As a drug rep I have called on hundreds of physician offices from Tampa to Sarasota and I can say without reservation that Dr Pacholec is one of the most caring, compassionate physicians I have ever met. Nevertheless, I feel the need to open your eyes and make you aware of the following: Lisa, from billing, has tried charging me for services aside from acupuncture four times. She continues to send my insurance additional billing codes that required co-pays when my treatments are 100% covered. To make matters worse, she sent me an invoice on Monday, 9/15/25 asking me to pay $30.00 for my upcoming acupuncture treatment scheduled for Wednesday, 9/17/25. Without receiving the service, Lisa was already charging me. I have been vocal and assertive about these unexpected charges unsuccessfully. Amber, staff member, dared to cancel my upcoming appointment without my consent after speaking to me on Monday about the invoice received. At 71 y/o, I avoid conflicts if I can, but dealing with some of the staff members in this clinic can be challenging. The clinic is expected to be about relaxation, yet, they have a toxic environment among their staff. I am not aware that the owner, Dr. Ron Shemesh, knows how his staff members are treating customers, but he will find out sooner rather than later. I am tired of receiving bogus charges because each time they send me an invoice, my blood pressure raises very high. I've decided to not go back because my health is more important and I don't want to experience stress and/or anxiety at a place that claims to be about mind, body and spirit.
