I love this place, because you don't have to wait forever to be seen by a doctor. The nurses, office personnel and doctors they always listen to me even though I can't speak well. They are so patient and ask me to repeat it. I can't stand it when people act like they understand me but they don't. You get absolutely no where when someone pretends like they do. I feel great, because I know they are going to take care of me and a complete stranger at that. If you go through life expecting the best for yourself, this is the place it happens. It is easy to smile and be kind to someone even when you don't feel good and I'll bet you anything you are going to get a smile and kindness back. This MedExpress is usually my choice when I need to go to a Walk-in clinic. The doctors here are great and really know what they're talking about. They truly care about helping you. My one complaint is that I always get the same nurse and she has a pretty bad attitude. The first time I dealt with this I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, it happens. But I have been there two other times after that and her attitude never changes. She sort of acts like it's an inconvenience to be helping patients. I'm not sure of her name but she has long dyed reddish hair and always has on cheetah print shoes. I've been here for a sports physical and a UTI. Both times I had a minimal wait and was seen with professional courtesy. I received a follow up call with lab results. I will definitely use them again when I can't get to my PCM. read more

Took my daughter here back in August, 2023, to be tested for COVID, which the test came back positive. At that time, my Wife and I didn't know my daughters symptoms were COVID-Related. My daughter walked out of the Exam Room toward us, as in FINISHED. What got my Blood Boiling was the Doctor just simply went and sat his rear in his chair and said NOTHING to the Parents and that's when I approached the counter and stated "Is somebody going to come talk to us." Now keep in mind that my daughter is a MINOR, under 18. That Doctor on staff, August 23, 2023, showed total lack of concern by NOT talking to the Parents after the Exam, until I pressed him for Information. read more

never tested for Covid or flu. My husband was diagnosed with allergies. Next day he went to another clinic. He had Type A flu. Now they send a bill for $176.00 after going through insurance. This clinic is in a category unlike a walk in clinic..please beware of this. No care given and now we have a bill for urgent care when the entire visit was handled with horrible medical attention. We cannot suggest them to anyone nor will we see them again. read more

I don't know why they have so many negative reviews. This is a walk-in clinic, not a regular Dr's office! They are thorough, professional, and accessible. Yes, you have issues if you want treatment for COVID because this is an Urgent care clinic--COVID should go to the ER or your PCP. They do COVID testing, various work-related tests, and see people who have things like strep, Ear Infections, etc who can't get in to see their PCP. I have had great experiences here, and choose to come here when I can't get in to see my Dr. You will get excellent care for the same co-pay you would pay at your regular Dr. They are open after 5pm, and you don't have to pay an ER price just to see a Dr. For broken bones go to the ER! read more

My wife just called Med Express at 4600 S. 46th St. and asked if they could assist at removing a toe nail lifted up from the nail bed. They told her they that they could not help with something like that. They told her that they would have to refer her out to someone else. If a medical facility can't even remove a toe nail I think I'm going to have to give you 1 star! WOW!!! read more

When I took my girlfriend to get checked out for what we thought was strep throat, the service they provided was below par. We were talked over and treated as if we were an inconvenience to their day. The ladies at the front desk ignored questions and talked to each other as if we weren't even there. Not to mention when she was actually getting checked out the "doctor" that was checking her gave her an attitude for worrying about her own health. The "doctor" only tested her for strep and didn't care enough to check her lungs, heart, or blood pressure. The "doctor" did less than bare minimum. It's disappointing and aggravating when you go to a place that is all about ensuring your health and safety and get treated like you're an overdramatic child. read more

This place is a scam. They will bill you for more and more money after your copay and insurance. Do not sign anything. If you agree to pay what insurance does not cover they will bill you and it will say insurance not COVERED, and you will owe the $276 Automatically!!! I was there with my son and had full insurance, we were charged $30 copay and billed for $420 broken down by rapid testing and all he had was strep throat and a prescription for penicillin. I got in with no issues, did testing, got results back, and a follow up phone call. the front desk staff treats you either like a real person with a problem or a pain in the ass. No In between. Randomly reaching out to a patient with information they "need" and demanding them to tell you personal information is rude. Especially when they already have received an explanation of results several days prior. If you think for a second that I'm going to give anybody that 1. Randomly calls me 2. Demands my personal information 3. Doesn't like it when I'm reluctant to do so because of all the scam phone calls, and 4. Doesn't give me any information about what location they are calling from (for starters), Any information at all without doing my best to figure out who they are you are wrong. And should I be labeled as "non-compliant"? Sombody thinks so. And to you whomever called me, get your head out of the sand and think about the world and what's going on around you before you withhold vital enough information that was worth calling about from that person. The drs get more stars than what I'm rating. The staff that deals with people needs some work. Or maybe it was bad timing. read more

If you have any covid symptoms at all you are not going to be seen at this clinic. My covid swab was negative but they still would not see me. As a veteran, this is the only walk in clinic that takes VA benefits in Fort Smith. When they turn you down it's either go to the ER or pay out of pocket at another clinic. I hope no one wonders why the ER waiting rooms are clogged up. It's probably because the clinics won't see them. I'm not sure why you can't do like the rest of us that work in healthcare and put PPE on to treat people. I work at the hospital with covid patients and we put our gear on and help people. If you're screening out people who have "covid symptoms" let me ask you all what you're going to do with the ones who are asymptomatic? You're letting everyone down in the community when you tuck your tail and hide from this pandemic and your creating extra burden on us who work at the hospital. We are taking up the slack because you think a cough might be the scary covid. In my case it was bronchitis. You're not keeping yourselves safe by avoiding those "with symptoms" because those range from NONE AT ALL to very odd things that wouldn't cause you to think it's covid. So anyways I felt let down as a vet and healthcare worker who needed non emergent medical attention. Y'all can do better than this. read more
