I am submitting this complaint anonymously as a current nursing student regarding serious concerns…read moreabout academic practices, financial accountability, and the learning environment within the nursing program at Med College. This complaint is made in good faith and is based on direct experience. 1. Lack of Transparency and Inconsistent Grading Policies During program orientation, students were informed that the minimum passing grade for examinations was 70% (equivalent to a "C"). However, in the NCLEX Review course--which is a required component for graduation--the minimum passing grade is set at 80%. This higher requirement was not clearly disclosed in the enrollment agreement or academic contract provided to students. This discrepancy raises concerns about transparency, fairness, and potential misrepresentation of program requirements. 2. Questionable Financial Charges There are instances where students, including myself, have been charged for clinical sessions that were not attended. These charges appear inconsistent with actual attendance records and may represent improper or inaccurate billing practices. A formal review or audit of student accounts and clinical attendance records is warranted. 3. Learning Environment and Professional Conduct There are ongoing concerns regarding the conduct and communication style of the Nursing Program Director. Interactions have been perceived as unprofessional, disrespectful, and inconsistent with the standards expected in a healthcare education setting. Such an environment may negatively impact student performance, well-being, and overall educational quality. Requested Actions: Given the seriousness of these concerns, I respectfully request: * A formal investigation into the program's grading policies and disclosure practices * A financial audit of clinical charges applied to student accounts * A review of the program's leadership and student treatment to ensure compliance with professional and educational standards These issues may fall within the scope of oversight by state regulatory boards, accrediting agencies, and federal education authorities. I submit this complaint with the expectation that it will be reviewed objectively and handled with appropriate confidentiality. My goal is to ensure fairness, transparency, and the integrity of nursing education for all students. Sincerely, Anonymous Nursing Student

some suggestions to maintain academic integrity:…read more * Use a lockdown browser like Respondus or ProctorU, which prevents students from accessing unauthorized materials during exams. * Implement Scantron exams, like Miami Dade College, which provides a secure and reliable way to administer exams. * Use proctored exams, where a live proctor monitors students during the exam. * Utilize AI-powered proctoring tools that detect and prevent cheating.

One issue here and is one of the main reasons I deducted stars, make sure to call to ensure the language is correct. I signed up for English and even took the test in English but when i showed up was told it was a spanish class. All the students in the class chose English and the school was adament that the mistake was on our end. I had the page bookedmarked where I signed up and when checking, since it was the first day I still saw the second day under the English classes. I took the class in Spanish despite not being strong in the language because I had already moved my schedule around to spend the 2 days here. So the next part of my review may be heavily bias due to some language barrier. The class is supposed to be broken into two days. The first is 8 hours long and the second 7 for a total of 15 hours. It's advertised as 10 hours riding and 5 hours class. The first day we left about 3-4 hours early and the second day we left 2 hours early. So you can imagine how much riding time we had. I came into this course as someone who never rode before and likely it was due to the language barrier but I learned more from the online course than in person. I also didn't feel safe asking questions during the course since whenever someone asked a question the instructor deemed dumb he made sure to make you repeat it so the class can hear how dumb you are and make a comment about how you should already know these things. Again its probably a language barrier, but I honestly only had fun when I was riding and the instructor left me alone. But again the riding portion wasn't that long. I could say more but to keep it short, I did eventually pass and get my endorsement and I do plan to take a second basic rider course (somewhere else of course), but i can't really recommend this place for a new rider. I give it 3 stars cause honestly if you're just here to lower your insurance or to get your endorsement and you already know how to ride, its a great cheap way. But if you're here to learn, don't bother. You can get your endorsement no problem, but you won't be street ready coming out of this.

Came to this location for a two day motorcycle beginner course to obtain the endorsement. I, along…read morewith 7 others, completed the course and had a lot of fun and newly obtained skills. I wanted to thank our instructor Joceli for being so great. I'll recommend to anyone trying to obtain their CDL/motorcycle endorsement! (my tips: try to sign up for the night class because the heat is really insane during summer. Bring a lot of extra water, more than you normally would.)

I spruced myself up, got all dressed up in a suit and tie, shined up my shoes trimmed my beard etc etc etc. I was glowing. I get to the address he gave me and the director lady tells me he is not there that she thought he would be in another campus giving interviews. I showed he the address he gave me and asked if she could call him to let him know I'm here. She did and no answer. She told me to wait since I was 15 minutes early for my interview and said maybe he's on his way as she looked at me up and down with snobby look on her face. Which was enough for me to have gotten my things and left at that moment. I waited 20 minutes and nothing. No sign of this guy Eduardo I believe. I might have blocked his name from my mind not sure. So since nothing was happening. I called the other location myself and asked for him. They didn't know where he was so i left a message with the receptionist from Hialeah campus. I tried calling him directly and no answer and no reply. I tried texting him and no answer and no reply. I ended up waiting around in total of 45 minutes and left. I was quite upset that I cancelled some appointments for a man that had no concept of being professional. I gave them two days to respond to me and never heard from them again. This Eduardo character never called me to apologize or to reschedule or to anything. So damn rude. And good riddance cuz I could never work for someone like that. Disgusting!!! Unprofessional i am in a school environment? What are you teaching your students? I can't even imagine what kind of example you would be to them with that kind of behavior right off the bat. I have to say they missed an excellent opportunity of having someone with my expertise my professionalism and my resume working at their school. I know about customer service and how to treat others in a professional manner. I know how to do amazing makeup, airbrushing, Bodypainting, special FX, tv video production, and every other kind of makeup you can imagine. I also do hair and styling for makeup artist needs. Henna tattoos, faux realistic tattoos, hair application , scars brushing. You name it I do it. But trust in this. I will never step foot in that place again. Disgusting!
