I went to Strive Physical Therapy in Northfield for an evaluation and they were very thorough and also very compassionate and understanding as I was in a considerable amount of pain. I was approved for 2 sessions of PT a week and each time I went, I found the facility to be very clean (there are people constantly wiping down machines and equipment), the therapists I saw were very good in explaining what I was to do and what it would help with, and they also provided detailed information sheets and videos as to exercises I was to do at home. I am happy to say that with their knowledge and assistance, I am again pain free after about 6 weeks of treatment. I would highly recommend them. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable, the facility is very clean, their hours are accommodating, and they have a great location.

Pam and Erin worked with me 2 days a week for an hour each day. After 7 weeks, I was playing golf again. I haven't been able to return to work but that's not important since I'm retired. For about an hour I managed to do those three things. No small accomplishment for me. Huge really. Made possible mostly by no less than a handful of therapists at Body in Balance in Linwood, NJ. Did I manage those things painlessly? No. But I did so with less pain than I typically endured simply standing or walking under normal conditions prior to treatment. Today is my 74th birthday. I waited 6 weeks for an approval for an MRI and upon calling the insurance found it takes 2 days, not weeks. The request was not made, then was made and cancelled, and there was no apology, no phone call, no we'll look into this. The staff who replied in patient portal made it sound like I was the one who made the error. And yes, I did file a complaint. I got a call back with an authorization number for the study but no comment towards the concern. Rothman can do better.
