I went from having a painful shoulder that made using it very uncomfortable to a shoulder with full range-of-motion and pain free exercise. Can't get one and being lied to as to the reasons why…read more I have been told the doctor I want "is not allowed " to work on patients over 42 years old (I'm 62) when my co-worker had the same condition and this Doctor operated on him 3 months ago when he was 48. When confronted they changed it to 55 and said the doctors set this age. When confronted again I informed them you previously said he "was not allowed." My insurance company says he is allowed to operate on people 0-125 years old. I've researched 3 different doctors that I'm willing to go with and still don't have an appointment.

He and his staff were thorough, showing me how my heart was functioning. He took as much time as I needed, and cleared me for surgery. The staff was friendly and cared about my needs. But the few minutes spent going over my results with Dr. Mcleay made me go out to my car and cry. He asked unnecessary questions, made me feel like I've wasted my education and ruined my life, and made me feel like he thought I must be crazy for coming in with nothing wrong even though he knew it was at the recommendation of my PCP because I have a condition that sometimes causes heart problems. He seemed to question my diagnosis itself even though it is not a heart condition and not something he would ever diagnose. I'm glad to know my heart is healthy, but I hated my experience with this cardiologist and dread ever having to return.

On 08/23/16, my husband had a pacemaker implanted by Dr. Mahoney. He had follow-up appts with Dr…read more Mahoney on 12/01/16, 04/19/17 and 06/07/18 to verify all was well. We received a call on 09/18/18 that the pacemaker was not transmitting, and we needed to reset the monitor with the manufacturer, Abbott. During the call with Abbott, we were told that the pacemaker's model number was entered incorrectly, and his pacemaker had NEVER been monitored. I contacted Heart Consultants to tell them the results of the Abbott call. During the next office appt with Dr. Mahoney 05/01/19, I asked him how he had verified everything was well with my husband's pacemaker and had never picked up on the fact that he had not seen any monitored readings in almost three years. At first, Dr. Mahoney said we didn't understand, then he said we had 30 days to find another cardiologist because it was obvious that we had lost confidence in the practice. We even received a registered letter saying we were terminated. We wished Dr. Mahoney had been so thorough in monitoring my husband's pacemaker.
