Parking is…read morewithin the st stephens shopping centres multi storey car park , if you park on the first floor of the car park you exit straight onto the floor the hall is situated on. when you enter the hall you are met with friendly staff who will take your car parking ticket and exchange it for a pass this can later be changed back for a paid for ticket so parking is free. Becoming a member of the club is simple just fill in a form at the reception and you can play straight away.In the reception area you can buy either paper books (sets of 6) or electronic books (sets of 24 or 36). From the reception area you continue into the arcade area which includes bandit machine that give some high value prizes. From here you enter a big, open hall where seating is arranged either side of a central aisle, that leads to the main stage where the main caller of the evening stands. The seats are set out in aisles 2 to a table. there are also a limited amount of tables for 4 and 8 towards the back of the hall. Each table has coin slots and boards to enable you to play party bingo during the breaks. To the right is a cafe area and bar, food is very reasonably priced and there is usually a nice variety of curries, burgers, hotdogs,sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc. The bar is well stocked. There are clearly marked tiolets and fire exits are various places around the hall. To the left is a self service drink vending machine. During the session staff are alway walking the floor to provide change or help.

This is a great social gathering place where you have a chance to have fun and win money too. The…read moreclub is situated on a main road in hull, it has a very large car park which on busy nights does get full but parking overflows into nearby store parking. Upon entering the club you enter a large foyer where you can sign up as a member and play straight away. As you enter you are asked for your membership card to swipe in and then you pass throught to the arcade area where there are many differant bandits where prizes are sometimes quite high. You can either enter the main hall from the arcade or continue through to the booksales area, here you can buy your books for the evening including the national game flyer with huge prize money available. After buying your books you enter a very large hall with loads of seating, this area has a cafe and bar where you can purchase a large selection of foods and drinks. There are various vending machines available for things such as crispd and snack and even that extra dabber you might need. Over the past year it has become less enjoyable but we were willing to give it a try as its the only bingo hall we know. I can honestly i will never go back there, The staff were rude and not the least helpful, I had been waiting for a member of the staff to serve me some hot drinks before the game started, she was to busy talking with her colleague and by the time she had finished she turned to me and said i cant serve you now the game is starting. I wouldnt mind but i had been waiting for 3 to 5 minutes for her to acknowledge me. When the first session was over i went back to the counter and orderd drinks and food and she just got my plate of food and slide it to me with force and asked for the money, least to say i wasnt happy with her service.. During the bingo calling the caller said the wrong number to start with and then corrected himself but carried on as normal, at that point it confused my father and he lost some numbers so i asked for a recall, the caller then asked me to repeat it and in the end it was his colleauge who had to tell him what i wanted. I was then shocked to his reaction which was him to laugh before doing the recall. I have looked on the Bingo website but they dont have a complaints department so i thought the next best thing to do was to write a reveiw .

They serve really cheap food and drinks, the food is ok, nothing amazing but nice enough and really cheap. They normally do about 20 games on an evening and have breaks every few so people can get a drink or go to the toilet. Absolutely love going there, it's not too expensive either and you can win a lot, me and my friends have won something a few times.

It has more of an art deco / modern feel inside than most English theatres, but still retains the traditional opulent feeling, with red upholstery, wall panels, and curtain. The theatre is a very nice size as it's not too big or too small and is easy to get in and out. I visited here to see Derren Brown's show on two occasions which we really enjoyed. The theatre staff seemed very on top of things, and I would definitely come here again.

I have been wanting to do a review for ages now. It started when I heard that the pop group FIVE where playing at this venue, IN A BINGO HALL!!!. Forget the stereotypes this place is great. There must have been 1000 people at the FIVE music night. Since then I have been for a regular Bingo session and eaten the great food at a reasonable price while enjoy a cheeky game of bingo with a few pints with Friends. There is always events on which are on their facebook page and advertised in the building. If you like a lively fun party atmosphere which is almost nightclub quality they do a Bonkers Bingo Night once every month or so, it great fun and again the beer prices are amazing. You can see that they are tapping into the 18-35 market on a nighttime and with Scarborough not having any nightlife they are creating something amazing here!! Well done Mecca Scarborough. Just heard today that they have a Massive Christmas Party Night coming and are launching a monthly Comedy club in there lounge bar upstairs, the lounge is ace with Pool tables, Games consoles seating and private bar. I have been told it has a new manager now so from what I can see he is getting on the pulse of what this town needs.

Most of the time is spent enticing you to use the quick table bingo machines in between the main rounds. The prizes are ok but don't match those on offer at gala. You do get some younger people in but on the whole it is the older generation.

Well actually I guess they do live up to their name. being huge and brightly light they are like a mecca, a focal pulling point of primary colours that draw you in on a dull evening. In most big towns you can be on a bus or a train and you are likely to see the shiny lights of a Mecca Bingo. So as it does live up to the name in the sense of attracting a group of people to do a similar activity...but still Mecca?

It's not a very sociable activity however, even if everyone in your group is using the electronic boards you can't talk while the numbers are being called or you'll get heckled by everyone else that's there!
