I wasn't sure if I wanted to leave this review because of confidentiality, but after reading some…read moreof the other reviews, I feel like I need to share my experience. I started seeing Daniel Burke years ago for something very serious that I needed real help with. At first, I wasn't a fan--I would leave our sessions angry, frustrated, even telling myself I'd never go back. But I always did. And over time, I realized why I was feeling that way: he was challenging me to grow. He pushed me to confront things I had buried for so long, things I didn't want to deal with but desperately needed to. Other therapists either couldn't get me to that place or simply didn't try. I have a lot of deep-rooted trauma that has affected my life and relationships in ways I didn't even realize. But Daniel helped me walk through it. He's not the type of therapist who just sits there, nods, and tells you what you want to hear. He's not there just to make you comfortable or to keep you coming back just to bill insurance. He's there to help you truly heal and grow--even when it's hard. I call him "Dan the Man" because he embodies what a real therapist should be. He's not your friend--he's someone who helps you become a better, stronger version of yourself. Reading some of the negative reviews makes me sad because I know firsthand that growth can be painful. It's possible those people just weren't ready to face their trauma--but that doesn't mean Daniel is a bad therapist. If you're truly ready to do the work, I highly recommend him. He helped change my life.

I'm so thankful this program was even open considering it was peak COVID days, and let me say: this program saved my life. Not only did it save me then, I'm in group again now that I'm an adult because I had another attempt and was hospitalized for that. It's saving me yet again. Everyone who works there is so kind and wise and really makes the lessons learned stick. Even the other attendees help me so much since I'm not alone. Finally, I just wanna say, if you put the effort in, you can change and make progress. You will get better and heal. You can't do it alone, which is why I recommend aspire 100%, but you gotta help yourself, too. :)

Ultimately, it was easiest to have my GP refer me and I was able to get an appointment. Note that they don't have immediate appointments, most are two weeks out. Which was a bummer. The lobby wasn't the most luxurious or clean, but I didn't have to wait much longer than 10 minutes so I was fine. I ended up seeing a Nurse Practitioner, which was sort of a bummer too, but she was nice and thorough. In the end none of my medication changed. I do feel like she could have suggested more options. For now it's just fine.

If I Could Give 10 Stars and a Hug, I Would…read more Let me tell you about the absolute legend that is Dr. Bhurgri ..a.k.a. the modern, progressive psychiatrist who actually gets it. I'm not sure what kind of magic he's working, but thanks to him, I'm no longer lying in bed Googling "can a human live under a weighted blanket full-time?" and calling it a life plan. Spoiler: I feel so much better now. Like, shockingly better. When I first came to Dr. Bhurgri, I was in a very, very dark place. I had been in psychiatric care for years seen more providers than I can count and always left feeling ignored, rushed, or herded through like cattle. Cold check-ins, short appointments, and treatment plans that felt copy-pasted. Other doctors just threw different medications at me, constantly tweaking dosages or switching prescriptions, while completely ignoring the fact that I was experiencing terrible side effects , even when I said they were just as debilitating as what we were trying to treat. But my experience under Dr. Bhurgri care has been the complete opposite. From day one, he treated me with genuine kindness, respect, and compassion. He listened really listened ,and saw me as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. He worked with me, not around me, and took the time ,years, in fact to fine-tune a treatment plan that actually works for me, not just "most people." His approach is thoughtful, modern, and collaborative -- I never feel talked down to or brushed aside. He creates a safe space where it's okay to be honest and vulnerable, and he makes the hard parts of treatment feel manageable and human. There's no ego, no rush -- just real care and the sense that he's actually in this with you. Also: TMS. I was skeptical. It sounded a little sci-fi. But it ended up being a total game-changer ,like my brain finally got a hard reset. And he guided me through it with patience and clarity every step of the way. I truly believe that between his support and the treatment itself, I was brought back to life. Now? I laugh again. I show up for my life again. I'm present. And I honestly didn't know if that would ever be possible for me again. Dr. Bhurgri ,you've had a profound impact on my well-being, and I'll never be able to thank you enough. You've gone above and beyond, consistently and sincerely, and your work has truly changed my life. To anyone considering making that first appointment: do it. Your future self will want to send you a thank-you card -- and maybe Dr. bhurgri too (but we'll keep it professional) TL;DR: I've seen enough bad psychiatrists to know a good one when I find him. Dr. Burguhri is it. If your brain is being rude and uncooperative, go see this man. He's like emotional tech support with actual warmth and the patience of a saintp

I don't show a whole lot of emotions when it comes to my personal life and I don't like to over share since I'm a pretty private person, but when you lose a parent it doesn't really matter how private you are and you don't really care who's looking... your emotions are all over the place. I lost my dad in 2017 and since then it's been really hard for me, but Rene really helped me realize a lot of things that I didn't have control over and I greatly appreciate her advice and her ears. I would definitely refer this place to anyone who was going through a hard time. It's not very easy to talk to anyone about problems, but Rene made me feel secure and safe to talk about my issues. She helped me with what felt heavy inside and it lifted me from my anxiety and stress. She helped me think logically versus what my emotions did not help me see. I'm very happy that my primary care recommended Pine Meadow. Rene is professional, very empathetic and an amazing listener. I never had problems with making appointments, canceling if it was necessary and I never had a long wait. Every time I had visited there was never more than 3 other people in the lobby. They played serene music and it makes you feel relaxed. It's a beautiful office and I would have never known it existed above the Alpine Pastry. It's located at a decent area on Schirra Ct and traffic isn't too bad in that area. The downfall is the parking sometimes, but it's not bad at all.
