In our group text, other members have introduced hot button topics that are controversial, yet Mike has not gone after them. But I made the one mistake of discussing our WOKE culture and in a private message was extremely hostile, unprofessional and he appears to have anger issues. All and all, I will not patronize or give money or support to a church that has WOKE staff with double standards.

I've attended The Orchard with my family for the past 20 years, and have found it to be a solid bible believing church. The senior pastor, Colin Smith, is a humble man and a faithful preacher who can be heard on 90.1 Moody radio. The Orchard is about roots, life, and fruit. They aim to help people dig deeper roots down into God's Word, share the life of Christ with others, and bear fruit in ministry. The church has been a blessing to me, my family, and to many others. The church's involvement in the community, especially for a newer church, I believe goes above and beyond the norm. Speaking of the norm, this church does not have the traditional approach from most churches ( suits, sit and listen quiet manner, very structure), and this is what set this church apart. Instead of feeling like you need to fit in to the church this church accepts you as you are and welcomes you with open arms. Quest Church is a growing group of neighborly people, led by Pastor Ed Taylor, who humbly calls himself the "Lead Quester". It's easy to feel at home at Quest, where we accept each other as we are, but we are dedicated to help each other grow in lives of love and service of God and people, and becoming "better" followers of Jesus. On a practical note, Quest's main Sunday gathering is at 3:30 in the afternoon. Yes, that's a little unusual, but for those who work on Sunday morning, or have to get kids to soccer games, or have other commitments that prevent you from going to church at the "traditional" hours, Quest might be just the thing.

Journey welcomes everyone and truly demonstrates the love of Christ through their actions. The pastors are living examples of the way to live out a life that fully encompassing the love of Christ. The facility was quite small back when we started going here, and they have since made a beautiful addition (which now I hear is even small for the growing congregation - get there early on the big holidays). The pastors I have worked with have been so kind and caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and have let me follow my own path. I brought my questions about religion to them while I was going through my confirmation, and they listened to me with concern and care, and let me know it was my choice to make my own decision. It was a great way to respond to a 13 year old. I remember being on the handbell "team" for a while, participating in other ways, and it was just a really great community of people. As far as I know, the church also participates in community giving and philanthropy which is very important.
