When I first moved in here I enjoyed it. However, since then your management team has been a…read morenightmare to deal with. Gary (maintenance) blames everything on the tenant, lies to cover his own butt, and refuses to help with anything work related. Dave (maintenance) was incredibly racist towards my girlfriend to the point where I asked for him not to ever stop and help me here again. Dave said another maintenance guy Tim who they've since let go was "lazy and useless". He may have felt that way but he should not have shared that with me. When Ryan came on board (head of maintenance) Dave lied to Ryan about several issues again because it seems the running theme here is cover your butt, take as much money as possible from every tenant from the time they first move in and do as little as possible to be there when the tenant needs anything at all. Ryan said there's a 100% disconnect with the office and maintenance, that Amanda brushes a lot under the table. And several other comments that I don't feel comfortable repeating as Ryan was the only nice staff member I met. The one time I met him he seemed very nice and genuine with my best interest at heart. Ryan did say that unfortunately how the complex was built they used the cheapest of materials and every issue I've ran into is common and things they deal with everyday. Gary said the units here are not the Cadillac of units, the appliances are not the Cadillac of appliances however the way I see it is I'm paying for a Cadillac of an apartment especially since I'm paying $1650 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment. Amanda (property manager of The Landings) is a malicious liar and she'll do everything in her power to make herself and her team look the best. However, she does not care about anyone other than herself, the money she's bringing in here and does not care about the tenants. She has had personal attacks against me. She has lied multiple times to my family. I could go on and on. I don't have the time to. The way you all talk to your own staff and workers, from what the lifeguards have told me, what Ryan (head of maintenance) has shared amongst the two of us, that he told me to keep between himself and I about Amanda to how management blames everything on a tenant, is the craziest and most absurd behavior I've ever seen in customer service, let alone a 1 bedroom apartment that I'm paying $1650 a month for. This is the most rigged complex I've ever lived in. I'm shocked you can even talk to your tenants the way you do. I moved in less than two years ago at $1250 and I'm now paying $1650. If I could review this complex and staff less than a zero I would. It's a nice looking apartment in a beautiful part of Baldwinsville. That's all you pay for is that it's in a good section of Baldwinsville and it's a nice looking apartment. As you live here longer the lies expand, they refuse to help you with anything including even the biggest emergencies and the staff is so incredibly rude.

It is designed to lock you into a specific lease term that benefits them. The 12 month was the most cost effective and that price was insane. Wish I still had a copy of the term rates so I could post and show everyone the highway robbery going on in the complex. I decided not to renew and moved out this month. Besides the rent increase, the walls are as thin as paper. You can hear everything going on in the apartments above and below you. I mean EVERYTHING! I had a couple below me who loved to fight and then make up nearly every single day. Because the walls and ceilings are so paper thin I could literally hear their conversations and their "pillow talk". Noise complaints are said to be handled, but then swept under the rug because the manager of the complex said it is next to impossible to remove tenants for noise disturbance. The cost to live here is not worth it. The pool is often closed because they don't have a steady lifeguard on staff. You often receive an email that morning saying the pool will be closed. This is not a covid thing because it was every summer I lived there. The amenities that they advertise are only available from 9-5 daily, so if you work you're out of luck. (With the exception of the gym). From the outside the buildings are beautiful, but the carpets in the hallways and elevators are stained and smell. I wish I would have made the move a year before. There are other complexes that offer just as much for a lot less a month.

I started with a 1 bedroom and it was just fine. NOT. Office staff is always nice on-site, but whoever they've had taking calls for the past two years maintenance wise is nuts. The washing machine made the loudest and worst squeal you could imagine. No one in the office had a care in the world and you could hear it within any apartment in the building. Refusal to replace it throughout my 1 year lease. Absolutely ignorant. Both apartments I have rented where on the bottom floor. You can hear every little step taken. God forbid your upstairs neighbor has a heavy foot or dogs. The staff does not care about the weight limit whatsoever. I decided it's probably not their fault and doing the best they can so I rented out a 2 bedroom because me and my wife had been expecting a new addition to our family. Came and checked the apartment out. Moving in throughout the first few days nice and quiet. First night we slept here we heard the upstairs neighbors come home and let their two huge dogs out and all you can hear all throughout the weekend and nights is stomping and racing every 30 minutes. Luckily it doesn't wake the baby but you think they would care? Nope! Not to mention don't you dare try to save money and do any car work yourself! Not aloud in the parking lots. Lease violation. most dishwashers do not work practically rinsing your dishes. And you feel like your living in the 90's! Everything is out of date from the bathroom vanities to the damn kitchens. For 1300$ you can find much better than village green. Only convenience is location. Nice little spots but expect to hear everything upstairs or feel guilty every time you take a step after paying you're 1300$ for the month.

Do not move here. The apartments constantly have spiders…read moreand mice coming in under the giant gaps under the front doors and in through the venting system. The floors in the building are vacuumed once a month and the laundry room floor is never mopped. Each bldg. has a garbage room, with no vents, inside the bldg., so the hallways always smell like hot garbage. In the winter, there is NO PARKING. First, you have to move your car out of the complex, onto the street, then walk back to your apartment. Then, they do a crappy job plowing, so there are about half the parking spots there should be. Then you have to walk back out to get your car. And if you don't move your car, they fine you $100. Repairs are made, pretty quickly, but a piece of trim I'm leaving them out. Don't move here.

I'll be moving to NY in the summer time after I graduate from school in California. We saw the 1 bedroom apartment and it was just perfect! 712sq ft felt like the perfect size for us both and my small service dog. I loved their clubhouse, the walking trails, the thank you letter they sent us after we checked them out, and the price is waaaayyy better than anything I've ever found in the Bay Area haha. I'm so ready to call Drumlin Heights home, and I've still got my eye on the townhouse model they offer. The only thing I didn't particularly like about the 1 and 2 bedroom units is that these units all share a main entry and then you find your specific door. These halls were pretty tight and dark, they kind of felt like a New York City apartment complex, like what you see in movies. That's why I want to see the townhomes that have private entries and their own garage!

You get to pick yearly "gifts" when you renew your lease, don't expect to ever receive those. Not sure why they bother having you choose one to never follow through on it.
