Meadowbrooke Gourds is a hidden gem of Cumberland County, PA!
Adam O.

Meadowbrooke Gourds is a hidden gem of Cumberland county, Pennsylvania. For those with a flair for holiday decor, these handcrafted gourds will be sure to impress. Each one is unique and make for a special, heirloom-level gift for anyone. You can also purchase raw gourds and decorating supplies/equipment if you'd rather make your own gourds at home. They also offer create-your-own classes you can sign up for online. Just get on and sign up quick - they fill up fast! They offer tours for groups too, so if you're looking for a fun activity for your kids (or youth group, or any other groups), this looks like a fun and healthy way to spend time together. Prices tend to be better in the physical store than they are online, so the drive through the beautiful countryside is worth it! There's a nice seating area inside with snacks and drinks where you can rest and stretch your legs after the ride! It's an awesome local business that has created an incredible brand - I highly recommend it to anyone interested in adding a special little piece (or five - it's hard to walk out with just one!) to their home decoration stock!

Very lovely place. I took my parents there today and will probably be spending more money there in the future. They also offer tours.

What an interesting place with truly unique gifts. The retail store is filled with all sorts of really neat items made from dried gourds. Since it is Christmastime, there are many very cute snowmen and Santa Clauses and elves and reindeer. But the remains of other seasons can be seen as well, most notably Halloween. Ladders hung from the ceiling are filled with gourd bird feeders. Everything is made by local craftspeople and they are clearly a talented bunch! There is even a large Komodo dragon made from gourds. Get off the beaten path (about 7.7 miles from I-81) and take a drive to this shop. You won't be disappointed.

This is an awesome place. Set in the middle of rolling hills, this gourd shop is a cool business. They have a gourd Jack olantern to play in and an opps sale that is fun. They also have a huge sunflower patch usually.
