This was the first time I have ever been to a urget care. That being said I went in for a possible UTI and the staff were very sweet and lovely. Especially the lady that took care of me! I don't remember her name but she told me that I would need a pelvic exam and I was very nervous but she walked me through it all! Made me feel very comfortable. A very big thank you! read more

This is the best Urgent care I have ever been too. It is really quick and the drs are great. I usually go there if I feel a UTI coming on.

Sounds like the only people that leave reviews are the ones that had a bad experience. I went to have an infected cyst removed. I used the online check in. I filled out all the paperwork in advance. When I arrived, I only had about a 5 minute wait. Nicole, a physician's assistant, cleaned out the infection, removed the cyst, and patched me up in less than 20 minutes. I knew beforehand that my insurance was accepted. I payed my copay and left. I highly recommend this place. read more

DO NOT GO THERE! My husband went 3/20/2023 and 3/24/23 because he was not better. They diagnosed influenza and gave him NO Perscription! I don't think the can write prescription . After 2 1/2 hour wait. MANY patients complained. He went back 3 days later after getting worse, made him fill out papers AGAIN! DO NOT GO HERE! He went to his reg Dr and had upper respiratory infection and was given 2 prescriptions .felt better next day! This place should be incestigated! read more

My lady friend went today to MD NOW in Bradenton1/26/2023 and had an terrible experience. Some black woman with long fingernails was totally rude, talking on her phone messenger, ignored my lady ,ordered patients around and was completely rude. She refused to give her name to my lady and was very obnoxious. Later we found out her name is Ester. I was there yesterday 1/25/2023 and had a great experience. At no time should a healthcare worker be obnoxious and rude to a patient. Fire her this day. I will go on Facebook and demand all I know to not go to MD Now urgent care. This place will take funds and not refund when they should I was told they did not accept my insurance at end of my appointment I paid I then spoke to a manager there who called my insurance and tuns out they should have excepted my insurance and it's been months and still no refund this place took my money and won't give it back they are a scam and a joke do not pay them read more

When I went, no one warned me about the 3 hour wait time. They took my copay so I couldn't leave. They were supposed to send my prescriptions to my pharmacy. I called them later that afternoon and they still had not. Called again the next morning and they still had not. Still waiting to hear about those scripts. read more

This was my second trip to this business and I have to say, they are still awesome (they were awesome on my first visit, too). This time I was visiting for a torn ligament in my knee from a trip and fall at my house. There were only a couple of other patients waiting, and they got me in very quickly. The staff is always so nice. While I pretty much knew what the injury was and that there's not much you can do, they asked if I wanted to double-check with an X-ray (they do have one in their office, yay!) and I did. I couldn't use the crutches they offered because I'm currently dealing with 2 ruptured disks in my neck, but they bandaged it up quite nicely and helped me out. I had my mom's walker at home that I used until I could walk on it again. As before, I couldn't have been there for more than 20 minutes for the whole process. read more

I had a very good experience. We were on vacation & my daughter had an eye problem. The PA was so nice & so cheerful. It was 45 minutes before they closed. We received a prescription & were on our way in 30 minutes. I would recommend going here. read more

Went in for a suspected Stye in my eye. Nurse was polite and efficient, but it was clear that she had not read any of my intake information. When the nurse was done doing a quick overview and checking my vitals, she closed the door and immediately said to the Dr "pretty sure he just has a stye. Do you want to go in and check on it?" To which the Dr. replied "no I trust your judgement." They then proceeded to sit and chat, again directly outside the door, long enough for me to finish a chapter of Lord of the Rings (thank you Kindle). They were loud enough my partner could hear them from the lobby. When the Dr. finally came in, she apologized for the delay (bruh) and spent a grand total of five minutes talking to me and looked at my eye for 20s before moving on to Rx-ing me and sending me on my way. At least it was quick and that's more or less what I thought was the problem, but it doesn't inspire confidence to hear your Dr say she has no interest in actually looking into your issue. I got lucky having an easy issue, but woe to anyone who needs a Dr to actually check them out. Also minor thing, but they have a section for preferred name so I put in my middle name which I use more than my first and they didn't use it once. Why even ask if you don't intend on doing it? read more

Went with a nasty cold and it could have been pneumonia.. paid for the visit and then waited in awaiting room for almost two hours.. the so called doctor entered was telling him about my situation.. then got some paperwork and I replied no prescriptions. I can't do anything for you.. this place is filled with losers and distrustful people..According to reviews you won't get your money back.. If only we could give zero stars. I was seen by a PA who could not have been less interested in treating me. Took my word for what I thought I had. He gave a cursory listen to my heart and lungs (I was not there for anything to do with those) didn't even look at what I came in for and said I'll get your prescriptions sent to the pharmacy and then we'll get you out of here. I waited for him (or someone) to return to discharge me. A half hour later I stuck my head out the door and the person who took my vitals was surprised I was there. She said "you're free to go!" No one told me what prescription was sent or if I had any questions. I ran some errands as my problem was uncomfortable but not contagious and got to my neighborhood pharmacy a few hours later. They had no prescription sent in for me. I called the number for MD Now and was connected to a corporate line with a long options list. Finally reached a human and told them the issue and they connected me to the location I had visited. They assured me it was sent but said they would resend. One hour later there was still no prescription. I drove back to MD Now instead of the torturous phone call and they gave me printed prescriptions. I took them to the pharmacy. The pharmacy tech said one of them was cheaper over the counter so I said great. She got an anti acid off the shelf. I was not seen for any stomach ailment nor did I discuss that with the PA. I didn't purchase that and they filled the other prescription. At every turn they made the wrong move and I was not treated like a valued patient/customer. Will never use MD Now again. read more

My wife was ill and visited this office on 12/14/2021. We were wrongfully charged a $150 copay. Our health insurance doesn't have copays, in fact we have a $150 benefit for urgent care visits. My wife paid it because she just wanted to be seen and get medicine. I contacted their billing dept when she got home and they were extremely rude and continued to lie to me. I contacted my health insurance rep and my health insurance company (United Health) and they both confirmed that I was correct and was owed a refund by MD Now. I contacted billing again and was told I had to speak with the supervisor, Georgie, and they were in a meeting and I would be called back. I called again later and was told the same thing. After not hearing back, I called the next morning and was eventually told later in the day after multiple phone calls that I was correct and if I had only figured it out the day before they could have issued a refund. Now I had to file a claim with my insurance in hopes of getting reimbursed which takes at least 30 days. MD Now knowingly stole from me and doesn't care. Avoid this place if you can. I was greeted professionally and treated with care by Antonio and then, the paragon of a nurse practitioner Jen Toscano. I have a horrible sinus infection.
