I would highly recommend this practice due to the variety of services offered and the friendly caring staff. No one or place is perfect.... People make mistakes; but, taking ownership is key. There's a weirdo named Farrukh T. Awan a former doctor at UT SOUTHWESTERN CANCER RESEARCH CENTER who's going around trying to solicit good doctors to break the law and join in killing me via a Mercury Vac System. Farrukh T.Awan and his partner Karan Hayat are dangerous people and should be avoided and reported immediately upon contact. Beware that former McKinney, Texas Police Officer Brad Hamrick and Sreyesh Dronamaraju; they may be working with Farrukh T. Awan per Farrukh T. Awan. The last 2 pictures are the female and male that's calling themselves Dharma and they're trying to pass A.I.D.S with a MERCURY VAC SYSTEM. Also, beware of "Doctor" Brian Koffman who is impersonating as the leader of the CLL Society.

There was a complete lack of follow-up, particularly when it came to lab work. Labs were ordered, but no one took responsibility for explaining what the results meant, how they connected to my symptoms, or what the next steps should be. A truly holistic practice understands that labs without interpretation are meaningless. Communication was dismissive and impersonal. I received canned, generic responses from providers I had never met or spoken with, which only reinforced how fragmented and inattentive this practice is. When I raised legitimate concerns about my care, I was met with attitude rather than curiosity, defensiveness instead of collaboration. Holistic care requires presence, continuity, education, and partnership. What I experienced was absence, poor coordination, and indifference. I never felt seen, heard, or supported--only processed. If you are looking for a practice that genuinely walks with you through your health journey, explains your labs, and treats concerns with respect, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This office may use the word holistic, but the care delivered does not reflect it.

I wish I would've read the reviews before making an appointment for my husband. It makes total sense now that these yelp reviews do not show up when you look it up on the Apple map. My husband and I went to a dr.s appointment made with dr. Barzin. I previous called to make sure they took his insurance before going in. My first mistake was not listening to my gut instinct. The lady who booked the appointment notified me that she didn't know if they took my insurance but in the case they didn't they would call me. We never got a call so we assumed they would take it. I called the morning of his appointment to double check. To my surprised nobody answered the phone after several calls. The black lady that kept directing my call was very rude and apparently couldn't answer any of my questions. We went in anyways and asked the front desk guy David, if they accepted my husband's insurance since no one ever called to assure us they did. He said of course and we wouldn't pay anything today. Gave my husband some paperwork to fill out and we waited till he was called back. I made sure that he wrote on the paper work the reason for his visit. He had been having knee pains and we wanted to get it addressed as well as other health concerns. They called him back and a few minutes later he was back out. I thought that was fairly quick for someone that hadn't been to the dr. In about 9 months. He was known to have some health issues so I was sure they would look into it and maybe do some tests. But no Dr. Barzin popped into the room for 3 mins. Just to tell him they weren't taking his blood work since he already had his blood taken in June. She then left and the medical assistant came in to tell my husband she was just going to take his blood pressure. Never did they ask about any of the other concerns he had. He sent him to the front with a zeroed out paper just to find out he was still going to be charged a co-pay. Which was beyond me. They billed his insurance for $300 just to take his blood pressure. And then asked for $30 in copay fees. I called once we got home thinking he got all his questions answered but apparently they just tried to get him in and out. I was so furious that they didn't monitor his cholesterol at all. As someone who has high cholesterol my dr. Checks it every three months to make sure it's not too high. But apparently these people refused to even check it. You think the medical assistant would have common sense to check that at least. I spoke to Dr. Barzins medical assistant and she told me they couldn't check it because he ate before he came in. In my opinion is total nonsense. She apparently didn't want to do the work. I asked her if she even asked him the stuff we checked off on the paper work given to us. She stated no I didn't. Have to. I don't understand what the purpose of having patients fill that out if they won't even read it. These people are just horrible and combative. This place is a joke. Dr. Barzins medical assistant the Hispanic, heavier set women with the curly hair was very rude. Does not have any type of manners and decided to hang up on me after I asked her why she didn't even read the paperwork fill out with my husbands concerns. I would advise anyone to stay away from here definitely not worth the waste of money. Just to be seen by a medical assistant and checked in by a snarky front desk guy.

They are open on Saturday so I can always get in during that time. They have also opened an allergy clinic where you can administer your own shots. This is perfect for that busy person who doesn't want to sit around for hours waiting to see if you have a reaction to your last shot. They simply show you what needs to be done and you return once you have completed your vial. The allergy staff is great and always flexible. It isn't in the nicest part of town but the office itself is great. It is a clinic type of setting which is why I try to only go on Saturday so I can get in and out. The allergy clinic is separate so you can get in and out without dealing with the lines or crowds of sick people.

She explained to me the liver should function at 100% but mine was only functioning at 49. I was freaked out to say the least. She referred me to a Nephrologist (specialist in kidneys, not liver) so I assumed they handled diseases for both organs. The research I did said the damage was irreversible and Stage 3 Liver failure was also cirrhosis. All I could think of was that I didn't even drink! I saw the Nephrology Specialist today who said perhaps she 'misspoke' but she had this in writing that my issue was with my liver. The Nephrologist received information that the referral from her was to check on my kidneys. I had to pay $50 to see him after I'd already paid to see her only to find out she misdiagnosed me completely. Not only is there no issue with my Liver but also no issue with my kidneys. She caused me undue stress and I am very upset about this. It wasn't a little thing - those are 2 completely different organs!!!

She raised her voice at me and was argumentative. The new NP came in sat down with her leg up in the chair drinking something in a cup. She actually had to look up what was going on with me on a computer. Like she didn't know what she was doing. She said I need a sonogram and to come back in a week. When I went to check out, The same rude MA would not come back to the front. Another New MA tried to check me out but didn't know what she was doing so she could not. I told her I would call back and to have the office manager call me regarding my interaction. Another week later I called to see why I haven't heard from the imaging place not an office manager. I was told I was released As a Patient with no explanation, no call back. Nothing after years as a patient!!! Not anything! I have medical issues so now I am left trying to find a doctor office

My primary care doctor has been Dr. Bryan Wasson, DO for nearly five years now…read more When I first found Dr. Wasson, I was working in a miserable working environment that was not only miserable because of the hostility of the workers but the unreasonable use of the Air Conditioning at 62 degrees year round. I ended up with bronchitis and walking pneumonia three times in six months. Here is why I give Dr. Wasson 5 stars. He is one of the few doctors I have ever consulted with who actually realizes we might know a tad about our own bodies. What a concept? Right! Here is where we found this realization. I have been susceptible to chronic bronchitis for most of my life, an affliction I share with my mother. And both of us, over the years have figured out that there is a tell-tale sign of impending doom... a metallic taste in our mouth that won't go away. The first time I went to see Dr. Wasson, I complained about a metallic taste in my mouth. He gave me an antibiotic, a weak one and sent me on my way. Two weeks later I had full blown bronchitis that was borderline walking pneumonia. This time he gave me a couple of shots and some medicines to get me well. He wrote this metallic taste phenomenon in my chart. Every time since then, I just call and say I'm tasting metal and he gives me the full treatment before I have a chance to get really sick. Only once have I been given a prescription from Dr. Wasson where he didn't give me a sample or a coupon. And that one time was one of those days I was thoroughly glad to have such a great doctor! I had full-blown food poisoning. I had been attempting to take phenergan for a couple of days to no avail. I had both suppositories and pills. So this day Dr. Wasson gave me a prescription and sent me over to Las Colinas Pharmacy where they created a phenergan cream that I could rub on my arms. Because if you have been getting sick for 3-4 days you have to be able to get the medicine in you where it will stay, if you catch my drift. Dr. Wasson's office has always been able to work me in anytime I was sick...and they were very quick and thorough when I needed to have my pre-op screening to make sure my heart, my lungs and everything else was healthy enough for brain surgery. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Wasson if you are looking for an internal medicine doctor.
