During my travels today I managed to run over a piece of debris in the road that was rapidly deflating my tire. I found Taylor's tire via Yelp and was very quickly taken care of by Jay so that I could get back to my customers. They were extremely busy, however, Jay was kind enough to get my tire plugged very immediately without my even asking. The gentleman that personally took care of my vehicle was also very friendly and quick to get my problem resolved. I spoke with Daphne (owner) and expressed my genuine thanks for how well they took care of me and how professional and courteous Jay treated me. Great people! Great business! About 2 years ago I had took my pickup truck to them to get brakes put on. When I went in i had…read morepurchased the brakes myself and they told me that they were not the right ones. I asked them how much I had left on my brakes. They told me that I still had a little bit of time left before I would have to get new ones put on. I took my truck a week later to someone else and they let me see what my brakes looked like and come to find out Taylor Tires let me drive my truck without any brakes on the back and I had no brakes on passenger side. So the only brakes that I had was on drivers side and they were very very thin. How can you allow someone to drive off in their vehicle without any brakes. I could have been killed or injured. And I could have killed someone or injured someone if I had hit them. How can they sleep at night knowing that they did this. So please do not take your vehicle to this place for anything cos they will lie to you. I have to rate them so I can put my review on here but they dont even deserve 1 star

They left my filter loose and so I lost all my oil and was driving without a sufficient amount in my engine for a week. I took my car in this morning and they got me in first thing and assessed my car. Found the problem and put oil in it in under 15 min--I went to pay and they told me not to worry about it. During the oil change, they performed a full courtesy check while I waited in the car, showed me my air filter, and explained the oil options without being pushy, and helped me decide the best option for me and my car. Some time after, I noticed a small oil drip. At that point, it was never even fully determined whether it was something they did or simply a failed seal on our end -- and honestly, it was probably a part failure. What happened next is what truly sets this company apart. Michael, the owner, personally called me and handled the situation with professionalism and integrity. Because the line wasn't entirely clear on whether the issue was a failed part or something related to the service, he took ownership of making it right. His focus was on standing behind the work, doing right by the customer, and building a long-term relationship -- not pointing fingers. They went way above and beyond. Kia is notorious for requiring OEM parts (aftermarket just won't work properly), so they had to track down a specific part. Michael and his team called multiple Kia dealerships, pulled strings, and somehow managed to get the part the same day, even though we were originally told it could take several days. That alone was impressive. They repaired the vehicle immediately -- and the next morning, Michael and his father personally delivered the car to my house. His father has over 40 years of experience working on vehicles and plays an active role in overseeing the work, which really shows. The two of them together are an impressive team. In conversation, I mentioned to Michael that part of my work involves helping businesses think through customer experience, and we talked about what it looks like to truly take care of people. The hardest time to do that is when it costs the business owner money. This repair did cost him money -- and he still did the right thing without hesitation. I've already referred many people to Strickland Brothers in the past because of consistently good service -- but this experience was different. I can confidently say I will never get my oil changed anywhere else, and I will be using Strickland Brothers for any automotive service they offer. I'll continue referring people without hesitation.
